In first week of March'25 my wife was discharged from hospital after treatment of complexities arising out of long continuance of some hypertension drugs. Now, due to changes of the drugs made by the hospital doctor, her hypertension was refusing to stabilize alongwith fluctuating heart rates..This in when I got in touch with Dr. Subhro Chakraborty, Sr.Cardilogist and Asst. Professor (known to me thru some sources) and he immediately asked me to see him, after I called him in the third week of March. Went through all treatment records and got ECG done, CT Angio done, another round of ECG was also done to double check, all of which were thankfully ok. In the meanwhile, he tweaked and changed some drugs and advised close bp monitoring. In the meanwhile, the patient was also carrying gall stone of 21mm, which was also required to be taken out but she needed to be bp stabilized first In the last week of March, Dr. Chakraborty based on bp feedbacks and patient response made some minor changes to the drugs and from first week of April, wife's bp started stabilizing and after hitting 150/95-100 started slowly moving down to 145/90, then 140/85. So much so that around poila baisakh, she had stabilized so well and was in the 130/83-85 bracket we undertook a tour of Odisha in the interior jungles of Sambalpur, of course with Dr. Chakraborty's consent.Even her heart rate stabilized remarkably and during our entire 5 day trip we did not even once had to check her bp or heart rate although we had carried the machines with us. As required, we have also successfully removed her gallstone and she did not have an iota of discomfort from bp or hr. She is now stable and feeling energetic and happy. Cannot thank. Dr. Chakraborty enough for the precise, patient diagnosis and guidance (including over phone, when required) that led my wife to a normal life again and gave us all a huge sense of relief and confidence with the days of anxiety and concern, behind us.
