The staff at Neotia are one to the kindest and sweetest. Always available and helpful. They come in for daily check ups to find out if everything is going smooth and they fix anything that may be out of place. Best part is that the hospital doesn't smell like a hospital. The staff cleans up regularly and ensures the room is tidy, neat and well kept. My compliments to the housekeeping and the nursing staff. The room also has ample lighting so if you go for a single room, it'll likely feel more like a hotel or a home stay.

One of the oldest and the biggest Multi Specialty Hospital in Siliguri. Wide range of specialty along with knowledgeable Doctors with supposed experienced Support staff , makes this the ideal hospital for treatment for patients.

The service was truly exceptional. The staff were attentive, professional, and compassionate. The doctor took the time to analyse patients based on past history, explain the patient's condition and treatment options clearly, which made me feel reassured and well-informed. The nursing staff were equally caring and responsive, ensuring everything is taken care of. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern medical equipment. Overall, I'm satisfied with the care received at the Hospital. Their commitment to patient well-being was evident in every interaction. I would highly recommend Neotia Hospital based in Siliguri to anyone seeking quality medical care. "I'm deeply grateful to the team at Neotia Gateway Hospital Siliguri for the exceptional care my nephew Mr. Tenzin Dorji received. Dr. MM Samim's expertise and kindness were truly remarkable, and Coordinator Sema's support throughout the treatment was invaluable. Thank you for your compassion and professionalism!" 5/5 stars

your problem. Iam politely said give 5 mint. He denied . There is no human nature.write in correct way Feedback: This hospital has good facilities, and the doctors are very professional and caring. The cafeteria food is also good. However, the behavior of some of the lower staff, particularly the security personnel, was very disappointing. This was my second visit to the hospital with my brother. My phone was switched off, so I was charging it near the lift, in front of the cafeteria. At that time, both the male and female security staff rudely told me to move and charge my phone elsewhere. I explained to them politely that there was no network at the other charging point. Despite this, they responded rudely, saying "That's your problem." I requested just five more minutes, but they refused. Their behavior lacked basic courtesy and compassion, which is especially important in a hospital setting. I hope the hospital management takes note and provides proper training to ensure all staff treat patients and visitors with respect.

My Review for Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre, Siliguri: I recently visited Neotia Getwel Hospital in Siliguri and overall, I had a satisfactory experience. What I liked: The hospital is clean and well-maintained, with modern facilities. The doctors are experienced and professional. I especially appreciated the way they explained the treatment in detail. Diagnostic services were fast and accurate. The nursing staff in my ward was attentive and polite. What could be improved: The hospital is on the expensive side, so it's better if you have insurance. Billing and discharge took a bit longer than expected. At times, the reception staff seemed unorganized, especially during busy hours. Overall, I would recommend Neotia Getwel for anyone looking for quality treatment in Siliguri. Just be prepared for slightly higher costs and some waiting time.

My father was admitted on account of hypoglycemia and breathing problems, and the hospital's response was woefully inadequate. Although the treatment quality was excellent, the hospital's response was inadequate. They provided a poor quality CPAP machine and lost our medicine, replacing it with cheaper alternatives without consent. The hospital's negligence is staggering. We were asked to bring my father's prescribed medicine from Jalpaiguri on a Sunday, when public transport was limited. We rented a car, only to find that the staff had forgotten to obtain the necessary signature. They didn't even apologize when we returned, instead lecturing us on hospital procedures. The hospital lost our medicine and replaced it with a cheaper alternative without our consent. We were charged for the substituted medicine, which is unacceptable. The visiting policy is restrictive and inconvenient. The hospital doesn't care if patients come from nuclear families, travel long distances, or have professional commitments. Cleanliness and hygiene are subpar. Dirty tiles, bathrooms, and waiting areas are the norm. The unisex toilet near the information desk is pathetic, with a door that doesn't lock properly. The bathroom near SICU L3 had no label, and was dirty everywhere. Even the ladies' washroom beside the tea junction was dirty, with few ladies not flushing and no staff to oversee maintenance. The hospital's cleaning schedule is inadequate, with only two cleanings per day. This leaves the premises dirty and unhygienic for most of the day. We were subjected to unnecessary repeat tests, including chest x-rays, ultrasounds, and echos, which were repeated for 2-3 consecutive days. My father was kept in SICU despite most of the test reports being normal, and then shifted to HDU instead of the general ward, citing hospital rules. We believe this was done to increase the bill. We were charged heavily for each doctor visit, ranging from 900 to 1,800. The treating doctors visited my father only twice, while other doctors visited 3-4 times, and we were charged for each visit. Discharge was delayed, with my father having to request it multiple times. Communication between staff members is poor, causing unnecessary hassle and inconvenience. The lady security guard's behavior was appalling. She refused to let us visit (on visiting hours), lectured us, and physically blocked the lift. Her condescending tone and aggressive demeanor were unacceptable. When questioned, she didn't apologize, instead shrugging it off. The visitor pass policy was clear, but security guard's ignorance of rules caused chaos. Initially, the SICU pass allowed 2 visitors, which was later changed to 1 visitor when my father was shifted to the general ward. However, the security guard's lack of knowledge about their own rules led to unnecessary harassment and delays. Furthermore, we were required to obtain a special pass just to sign documents or hand over medicines, highlighting the hospital's excessive bureaucracy and lack of communication between departments. Management's response to our complaints was a plain "ok" without apology or assurance that they would take steps to prevent similar incidents. The discharge process was subpar, with low-quality photocopies of test report, claiming that insurance patients only receive photocopies since originals are sent to the insurance company. This is in stark contrast to other hospitals, which provide original reports to patients, raising concerns about transparency and patient care. To add insult to injury, we were given the urine container of another patient during discharge, which we only discovered upon returning home. The only positives were the excellent care from doctors, efficient insurance department, and helpful information desk staff. Our experience was a letdown. Glaring issues overshadowed positive aspects. We'd only consider returning for emergency care. The hospital's focus on profit over patient care is alarming. Cleanliness, hygiene, and staff behavior need drastic improvement.

This is a photo of my Mom and Dad along with Dr. Ankur Katyal. My mom was diagnosed with umbilical hernia. The first doctor kept saying surgery couldn't be done due to her overweight from ongoing medication and asked us to delay it. Thankfully, her pulmonologist, Dr. Abhishek Bali who is treating her with bronchitis (lungs), suggested us to visit Dr. Ankur Katyal for hernia -- and that was the best decision we made. Dr. Katyal confidently said that weight should not be a barrier and explained everything in detail after carefully understanding her symptoms. He even managed her sugar levels in a day and successfully performed the surgery. Post-operation, they visited her daily and made sure she was comfortable. Dr. Katyal is very polite, friendly, and highly skilled. I strongly recommend Dr Ankur Katyal to anyone looking for a hernia surgeon and would also strongly recommend Dr Abhishek Bali to anyone looking for the treatment of lungs. You can book an appointment with both of them in neotia getwel hospital, siliguri. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Katyal and Dr. Bali for the right guidance and excellent care.

We recently visited Neotia Getwel, Siliguri for my dad's URSL surgery to remove a kidney stone, and our overall experience was very positive. Dr. Kishore Roy was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. He explained everything clearly and made us feel at ease. The surgery went smoothly, and we're really thankful for the care and expertise he provided. The hospital room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The nursing staff was attentive, responsive, and caring, especially the room nurse who was always ready to help with a smile. The hospital food was also quite good, which is rare to say for hospital stays! Overall, we had a very good experience at Neotia Getwel and would definitely recommend it for anyone seeking quality medical care in Siliguri.
