I recently underwent two surgeries--a hysterectomy and an umbilical hernia repair--at Woodlands Hospital. I am deeply grateful to my two attending doctors (main doctor was Dr. Lahori Roy and for the hernia it's Dr. Sumantra Ray), whose professionalism, responsiveness, and compassionate care made a significant difference during my hospital stay. They were readily available for both in person and virtual consultations whenever I felt the need, and their supportive and empathetic approach was truly reassuring. The hospital room was maintained with a good standard of cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable recovery environment. I found that approximately 70% of the nursing staff were well-trained, courteous, and attentive to patient needs, which I greatly appreciated. However, there is room for improvement in the behavior and approachability of a few members of the nursing team. Additionally, I believe the Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) could benefit from further training in patient interaction and bedside manners to ensure a more consistently positive experience for all patients. The insurance section is good enough too. The dietitians at the hospital are extremely understanding, well-mannered, and well-trained. The quality of the hospital food is commendable--it closely resembles home-cooked meals, both in taste and nutritional balance.

Do not go by the rave reviews. A mid-size Hospital which previously used to be a Nursing Home for the privileged having an OPD. The Front Office and staff not really helpful or warm. Very professional attitude and lack of coordination experienced.

I recently delivered my baby via C-section at Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital under the care of Dr. Lahori Roy, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the entire experience. Dr. Roy is truly an angel in disguise, incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and approachable. She made me feel confident and cared for every step of the way. The hospital stay was comfortable, and the arrangements were well thought out. The nursing staff was exceptionally attentive and kind, taking great care of both me and my baby. From the doctors to the housekeeping staff, every person I interacted with was warm, friendly, and eager to help. Woodlands truly lives up to its name as a multi-speciality hospital where you not only receive excellent medical care but also feel genuinely supported throughout your journey. I highly recommend it to any expecting mother.

A mid size hospital with minimum facility but having staff attitude to the fullest. For instance, the lift which is meant to take visitors to meet the family members the same lift is used to take ICU patients and other patients to transit. We take into consideration that ICU timings are short due to certain reasons but when the lifts are so slow that each trip takes 10mins to complete as the patients and visitors are using the same lift. Some of the staffs are understanding but some are filled with arrogance. Too bad.

I was admitted to Woodlands Hospital on 25th June, and my surgery was successfully performed on 26th June by Dr. Lahori Roy. I am extremely satisfied with her expertise and deeply grateful for her care. The nursing staff was also very cooperative and attentive throughout my stay. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I sincerely thank the entire medical team for their dedication and support.

We are currently writing from your patient lounge. My mother is currently undergoing a surgery , a senior citizen and your security guard without a badge ( How !!!) at the ground floor reception created a ruckus with us, pointing fingers to state why we wouldn't be allowed to the OT lounge, where the medical staff had asked us to wait. Call me for further clarification, I need this to be flagged and action taken because for the kind of charges we pay at a hospital like yours this sort of horrible customer service is unacceptable. We are still waiting per assurances from your CC team of asking everyone in the lounge to follow the same rule.
