Dr. Dr. Subhasis Roy Chowdhury

I wish I could give 0 star. Worst experience ever. I dont know how this doctor have good reviews. My mom was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure in May 2024 in USA. Her EF was down to 20%. She was on medication. Doctors here said that EF often improves with proper treatment and lifestyle changes. After 6 months I took her to india and went to see Dr Subhasis for the first time, he did Echo and her EF was 30% (increased by 10% in 6 months). He kept demotivating us saying it wont increase anymore. While in USA, one fine morning my mom fainted because of her weak heart, and fractured her hipbone. She had an hip replacement surgery. When I narrated this incident to Dr Subhasis, he mocked and made fun of the the incident and kept saying, my moms heart health wont improve. And she would be needing ICD. Mom was taking medications given by him. She started feeling weak and drained out of energy. Her BP was always on the lower side. We thought we will see another cardiologist, and we did. The other doctor changed the medication and yesterday my mom had another Echo and her EF is 58% now. I dont understand why some doctors demotivate their patients. They should actively motivate and encourage their patients. By fostering a collaborative and supportive relationship, doctors can empower patients to take ownership of their health journey and make incremental steps towards better well-being. If you want to get well, please dont go to this doctor.

Worst behaviour. Please avoid this dr. He is very negative, does not want to communicate properly with the family of the patient, and also tries to Panick them by saying unnecessary negative things. Trying to instill fear to extract as much money as possible from patient's family.
