Dr. Dr. Ranjan Kumar Sharma | Best Cardiologist in Kolkata

I paid Rs.2000/- as his fees for one appointment. It was unusual and fishy. Without much diagnosis asked me to do TMT ar his place. Another 2000/-. He even didn't see the reports by himself and relied on a compounder's input. Didn't get even a chance to ask questions. Overall a very very BAD experience. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR AT ALL.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Dr Ranjan Sharma. Instead of showing care and patience, he was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He barely listened to my concerns, rushed through the consultation, and made me feel like I was wasting his time. A doctor's job is not just to prescribe medicine but also to treat patients with respect and compassion--unfortunately, that was completely missing here. No one should have to deal with such behavior, especially when seeking medical help. I would strongly advise looking for a more patient-friendly and professional cardiologist.

Doctor Ranjan Kumar Sharma is a great cardiologist. My parents are doing well because of him. He has always shown great care for them, especially my father, because of him my father is able to live a better life now. His prescribed medicines are working well for my parents.

Very rude and arrogant Dr. He never explains about any diagnosis. When we asked some question he become very shouty. We had very bitter experience last year. My dad had blockage in artery connecting to left leg (not in heart) for which he recommended angioplasty and stent procedure. As he told it is a minor procedure we went ahead with his recommendation but unfortunately post operation within 4 hrs my dad lost his life. We tried to reach him even called him to understand what happened suddenly hospital authority (Manipal Hospital Saltlake) didn't helped as to contact him by saying he is not available. You can understand how irresponsible a doctor can be who does not bother to meet us. I assume he is not capable to handle such kind of operation and he is only concerned about the money, so request all if possible do not go to this doctor.

Utterly rude, incompetent and callous doctor. Does not listen, charges again on basic followup after 2-3 days, does not understand that a patient needs to be heard. Shows no compassion gives zero comfort. Most insensitive medico who should be avoided even for a basic check up or consultation. We have had a harrowing experience of wrong diagnosis, medication and side effects. Avoid this doctor.

We've had very poor experience with both Dr. Sharma and Manipal Hospital. Refusing to listen to the patient's primary complains which was viral fever, he prescribed ecg and tmt tests, which were way off the point. The reports came back and his diagnosis was hesrt blockage, stent placement and so on. We took a second opinion about it, the second ecg report surprisingly gave a different picture altogether. Precisy, he treated low pressure and fever with tmt and ECG tests.

One of the most worst doctor I have meet in my life, bad behaviour and highly arrogant. Never never go to him. He don't want to talk to patients, he think it's waste of his time.

Today visit after angioplasty 5th August 2024 ,very bad n rough behaviour would not suggest anyone to visit this fellow very bad experience
