Dr. Dr. Debabrata Roy | Cardiology | Narayana - RN Tagore Hospital, Mukundapur

One of the worst Doctors in Kolkata. Beware of this Doctor. He is simply a dacoit with super rude behaviour , incompetent, unprofessional & downright clueless doctor. He has no personal patient at his Salt Lake City home clinic as he is of no use, however few patients who unfortunately and unluckily gets admitted under this doctor in one of the Kolkata's private hospital gets trapped until he and his hospital fetches hefty cash from the patient's family. People in West Bengal are so unfortunate to get treated by these kind of incompetent and psycho doctors. Get rid of this doctor immediately. As by default I had to select number of stars to provide review, I had to select 1 star. But this crazy doctor doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

He is a very rude doctor. Despite charging 1500 taka for a visit, they cannot behave properly with the patients. They are so abrasive that any patient would be afraid to share their problems clearly. My father underwent pacemaker surgery performed by him, but afterwards, when we went for post-surgery treatment consultation, we suffered a lot....

Dr Debabrata Roy lacks basic communication skills. He seemed pretty clueless about his own team and other departments in the hospital. Not fit to handle critical patients with multiple issues that need integrated approach. Either the hospital does not have the culture of team work or Dr Roy does not understand collaboration, either way our experience was very frustrating. We also found his attitude and demeanor rather condescending and mostly dismissive. He was reluctant to explain the situation or what he was doing or what he was planning to do with the patient. We had to shift hospitals because Dr Roy was so unapproachable and misleading. Dr Roy is way too arrogant and disrespectful for a mediocre doctor with strictly average skills. He is simply not worth it. A huge let down by the hospital authorities and their total failure at administration and coordination.

He is a moneymaking machine without any compassion for patients. He does not care if a patient live or die. I admitted my father-in-law one year back and got very bad experience. While my father-in-law was in critical situation he gave wrong idea about his health just to increase hospital bill. Also he is very rude with middle class people. My father-in-law could not survive unfortunately. I really hate this kind of mentalities in doctors.

He needs a doctor too for his mental health..full crazy man. I believe he is having family/ personal issues and those reasons i patients suffer. Wak thu.. on his face. Nobody should go there for treatment..

He is a realy good doctor as i admitted my mother i am obliged towards him he did every treatment very fast and my mother was telling that he was very polite and well behavingwith her . I am thankful to him

Today my mother is realised from the hospital RN Tagore Mukundapur. I am will give this institution my best as they have been really great to us this few days. A special thanks to Dr. Debabrata Roy for making our life full again.

One of the best cardiologist in Kolkata. His diagnosis is good. I was under his treatment and am doing fine. May God bless him.
