Dr. Arti Hospital

I hope the management takes note of the following and take actions to improve and hence ensure more people patronise this hospital rather than leave with bad experience and hope not to return here for any services - first the good part, Emergency doctor/staff - excellent behaviour and service. The medical services provided by doctors is the excellent part Now for all the bad experiences: - reception/billing need to be polite/courteous and provide quick service to the family who is taking in a patient for emergency - the "Managers" need to provide details of the billing as required and not just say in package everything is conveyed and not being able to tell what is "everything" before admission/process. Telling that everything will be provided on discharge and expecting main to pay in advance is not the effective service. Also a brief to the family on what is the next steps will help and enable the family to plan activity rather than just hang around - pharmacy needs more hands to handle indoor/OT patient needs. No point in the patient representative having to run around and wait to get services required by OT at the pharmacy counter unnecessarily - the staff in patient wards/OT need to be informed not to ask/request family for money as tips. Very bad outlook of the hospital as these staff represent hospital hr training/management - having to physically run around to get information on the discharge, not good. The family must be updated/informed on the actual time and not expect them to hang around unnecessarily for hours in the waiting area. The ward representative says file not received for discharge. The managers cabin say file already sent, all clear and we wait clueless between this. Spent 1 hour unnecessarily for this. Then with asking around we found the file on a desk in another ward as someone had kept it there and no one was aware..strange - we are informed to go collect reports and submit to the ward for discharge, why are you making us work? - the waiting area needs to have more place to sit especially in front of OT where me being 1 person representing the patient had to sit on the stairs in the lift lobby for 2 hours as all 6 chairs outside the OT were already taken...not a good experience to wait especially with all the frustrating feeling of the services offered

Very unprofessional and unorganised. No clarity, no communication, zero responsiveness. Staff at the front desk and management are rude and unhelpful. Families are left clueless at every step -- from billing to discharge. No system in place, and we had to keep running around for basic updates. Pathetic coordination. Only saving grace was the emergency staff and doctors -- rest of the experience was frustrating and chaotic.
