Dr. Jalpaiguri Superspeciality Hospital

This is Jalpaiguri Super specialty hospital as well as the highest building of the town. Formerly there was one building of Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital but now we have this one also. Here is emergency services, ambulance service, parking space and the building is well developed and well maintained. Some people say that it needs more Doctors than the current number of Doctors. I personally had good experience from this place.

Management is moderate but more doctors are needed here. This hospital is located on 2-3 minutes walk from Jalpaiguri Engineering College More(College More,next to Gosala More towards Siliguri). This 10 storey building is the tallest building in the whole Jalpaiguri city. Here first you have to talk about your problem and buy a ticket from the ticket counter. The ticket price is 2 rupees. The ticket has the name of the doctor and the room number is given, you have to be present accordingly. If you have some tests according to the doctor's advice, you can do it for free here.

My worst experience in life happened today. A lady doctor from the emergency department behaved very rudely towards me. It seemed like she was taking out her anger on the patients. They don't examine their patients well or provide proper treatment. The hospital's system and structure are terrible; you have to wait for everything as a patient. There is no proper seating arrangement, and patients have to stand for hours. The only well-behaved staff I encountered were the nurses, who understood the meaning of humanity. I want to give some advice to all the doctors at that hospital: I know you work hard and do your best, but please be kind to your patients and their families. They suffer a lot mentally as well. Sometimes, patients are not in a position to express all their problems, either because they are afraid or because they simply can't. Listening to their families won't harm you. I don't mean to disrespect you, but based on my experience today, I felt the need to share this.

One of the most worst hospital services. Dr. And staffs have rude behavior, don't know how to talk to the patient and their relatives. You can't even ask a simple question to the doctor, specially 5th floor, male surgical ward. I don't know the name of the doctor, but he was from unit 2. If anyone know the name of the doctor, please mention the name. Need to file a complaint against him. They are govt doctors so basically they are kind of govt. Servants, like Police and others.

Good government hospital in jalpaiguri according cleaning and security.

Everything is fine but has a huge problem with the doctors present because They are with full attitude and miss behaves with some patients those who are poor or illiterate. No proper management of Que also...very disappointed it is known as super speciality hospital jalpaiguri but no proper management.. We visited yesterday with a patient. The nursing staffs are extremely badly behaved and lazy and have a very casual attitude.
