Disorganized OPD System Causing Hardship for Elderly Patients. I recently visited the OPD at The Medicity Hospital for a consultation with Dr. Sanjay Kumar (MD, Internal Medicine) for my 85-year-old grandfather. The hospital publicly states that OPD consultations are held from 10 AM to 2 PM. Given my grandfather's advanced age and discomfort with prolonged waiting, I called the hospital in advance to check if we could get an appointment. I was told that appointments are not given, and that the doctor is typically occupied with IPD rounds until around 11:30 to 12 PM, so I was advised to arrive at 12 PM. We followed this advice and reached the doctor's cabin at 12 PM. Since then, we've been asked to wait repeatedly, with the reason being that the doctor is still on rounds. It has now been over two hours, and we are still waiting. This experience has been extremely frustrating and painful, especially for elderly patients who need timely care and cannot endure long, uncertain waits. If the doctor is unavailable for a large portion of the OPD hours, the hospital should either revise the stated timings or implement a proper appointment system to minimize patient discomfort and confusion. I hope the hospital administration takes this feedback seriously and works towards making the OPD experience more streamlined, compassionate, and respectful of patients' time.

Our experience with this hospital was extremely disappointing and distressing. My uncle was admitted here due to a serious liver condition. We expected proper medical care and support, but unfortunately, the behavior of the hospital staff was highly unprofessional, rude, and insensitive. There were intentional delays in treatment, which worsened his condition. Despite repeated requests, we got no proper updates or cooperation from the medical staff. When we decided to shift him to another hospital for better care, the staff deliberately delayed the discharge process without any valid reason. The overall handling of the patient was careless, and our family had to suffer mentally and emotionally because of their negligence. This kind of behavior from a healthcare institution is completely unacceptable. Hospitals are meant to provide support and healing, not trauma and frustration. I strongly do not recommend this hospital to anyone who truly cares about their loved ones. Please be cautious before choosing this facility.

Extremely Disappointed with the Treatment at Medicity Hospital. My family had a deeply disappointing experience at Medicity Hospital due to the careless and unprofessional treatment my uncle received. Despite our trust in the hospital's reputation, the medical attention he got was far from acceptable. From the beginning, there was a complete lack of proper communication from the doctors and nursing staff. My uncle was kept waiting for hours without any clear diagnosis or timely intervention. The doctors seemed disinterested and rushed through checkups, offering no clarity about his condition or treatment plan. Worse, the staff was unresponsive and showed no sense of urgency or empathy even when his health was visibly deteriorating. This kind of neglect in a critical care facility is not just disappointing -- it's dangerous. We expected quality care and professionalism, but what we got was a system that treated our concerns like an inconvenience. Medicity Hospital seriously needs to re-evaluate its standards of patient care. I do not recommend this hospital, especially for elderly patients or anyone needing attentive, compassionate treatment.

Only at par infrastructure and a huge manpower can't guarantee a satisfied patient without a proper coordination among all in service chain and most importantly the quality time ; a patient expect from doctor after spending one of the highest cost for hospitality in the region. Management should be clear that a renowned restaurant can sustain and afford to serve not so good food by delighting and deviating customers ; through ambience, infra etc but hospital is not restaurant.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at [Medicity hospital, RUDRAPUR ]The Doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing no empathy or respect for patients or their families. There was a serious delay in providing care. We also experienced wrong or careless treatment, and there was no proper communication from the doctors about the patient's condition or next steps. We kept asking for updates and clear instructions, but no one gave a proper answer. It felt like they were just waiting for the patient to die so they wouldn't have to do anything. They leave patients to suffer without proper treatment, as if their lives don't matter. It felt like money matters more to them than human life. This is the worst hospital I've ever seen. Staff is rude, careless, and unprofessional. This hospital is running a business, not saving lives These people are playing with lives for money. This is not just unethical, it's dangerous. Please, don't go to this hospital if you value your life or your loved ones.

I have never seen such a pathetic hospital in my entire life. I want to urge everyone: if you value your own life and the lives of your loved ones, never go to The Medicity Hospital, Rudrapur. This horrible hospital completely ruined my father's case. He had a liver issue, but instead of treating it properly, they aggravated the condition so severely that his liver became completely damaged. Due to their incorrect treatment, fluid accumulated in his lungs and stomach, causing his oxygen levels (SpO2) to drop below 50. We had brought our father in a stable condition, but this terrible hospital pushed him into a critical state. My father's treatment was handled by Dr. Sanjay Kumar. The entire staff of this hospital is extremely unprofessional. The doctors neither speak properly nor are they available to meet. One doctor says one thing, while another says something entirely different. The ICU facilities are disgustingly unhygienic, and they openly state that they will only try to save a patient's life if you pay them. The ICU in-charge is completely uneducated and clueless; he only talks about the patient's life expectancy in percentages. They extorted a huge amount of money from us, and in the end, simply told us they could no longer treat my father because the case had deteriorated, and asked us to take him away. Even when we requested discharge, they unnecessarily delayed it for two days. I sincerely appeal to everyone: never take yourself or your family members to this hospital if you value your lives.
