am a doctor myself (Dental Surgeon), and I've decided to stop my wife's treatment with this gynecologist, even though she is 23 weeks pregnant. The reasons are serious and disappointing: *. A basic Tetanus injection (which costs around 10) was charged at 200, with no explanation or breakdown of the cost. When I asked whether it was TT or Td, I was not given a clear answer -- which is important, especially during pregnancy when Td is usually recommended. She didn't tell me and get irritated when i ask * Gets irritated when patients ask for billing clarification or discounts, even politely. *. Intentional Delays Despite Low OPD: Despite having only 4-5 OPD patients, the doctor took unusually long to attend, creating the illusion of a busy practice, which causes unnecessary delays for patients. * Does not allow patients to go for ultrasounds at other centers -- likely due to personal commission interests. * Despite being a fellow doctor, she never offered any courtesy or professional discount, which is basic respect in the medical field. * Other doctors extend kindness to colleagues -- but her attitude is purely transactional and arrogant. Patient care is not just about treatment--it's about trust, ethics, and empathy. Sadly, these are missing here. I've now transferred my wife's pregnancy care to a more ethical and respectful gynecologist.
