On 4 th May 2024 came there to admit my Son in law on the recommendation of our relative cum surgeon to remove an alien particle an half an hour procedure. The hospital is situated at 7th cross west extension. Even though I am native of this place first time came to this hospital. Within one hour our surgeon came and completed the surgery. Next day morning discharged from hospital. Every thing went smoothly. The following few things could be noted. There is no board at the entrance except Periasamy Residency. Lot of flex on sides. No one is there including Medical shop to help us in the ground floor. After sometime a person who came there helped us to go to the reception in the first floor. A security to be there to guide the visitors properly. At 12 PM it is very difficult to wait at the reception without any fan. Being new to this hospital we faced problems to park our vehicle as there is no proper parking space for visitors. The hospital is maintained very neatly . Quick response from staff may improve the customer service still better.

I am recruited there as a staff ,on my first day joining , they told me not to wear head shawl , I am not convenient with this and so I am ready to leave the job, while leaving The Hr of star kims comment "Nowhere else can you get a job with your head shawl," was particularly disappointing. No one has the right to demotivate someone about their career path. If you are talking about your hospitals set rules and regulations its fine, but no one has rights to throw Words like "nowhere else you can get job" without knowing about other hospital. I've seen many staff members in Chennai hospitals, such as Kauvery, SIMS, and Apollo, working with head shawls . It's essential to think before speaking.

Star Kima: This is absolutely pathetic and have never seen such a money minded hospital. I got admitted for Kidney transplant on 05Feb23. Initial cost quoted was 15 Lacs inclusive of all the charges. After all preparation for transplant was done doctor revised, the charges and asked to pay extra 5 lac to proceed with the surgery, else will transfer the same to next waitlist patient. All preparations was done and with no other option, we had to accept the additional cost. After surgery, I stayed in ICU for 7 days. I received excellent care from Nurses and from brothers. They had taken well care of me and though I was in pain I never felt I was in a hospital environment. From day 8 to day 15 it was a night mare at the hospital (not with nursing) but with the other support functions (HR, Admin and food). All these 3 depts absolutely sucks and are not patient friendly. HR and admin dept will keep pestering the attender till the payment is done. I had made a payment of 15Lac initially for the surgery and every alternate day they asked to pay 50,000 to clear the dues. I insisted not to pay any more bills as the medical part was agreed to be covered via cashless, however they later denied this and asked to pay in cash. Please be careful with the doctor and the HR staff as they make lots of false promises. Always have a written document signed by hospital if you are planning to undergo any surgery. Till I was in ICU chief doctor hardly visited me. He gets all the updates from his staff via phone and instructs them what to do. Note there is no dedicated surgeon for this hospital. Depending on the nature of surgery hospital will arrange for doctors from the market for your surgery planned dates. Nephrologist and Urologist who performed the surgery gave confirmed I can get discharged on Day 9 and to be cautious at home. However, the MD of the hospital, shifted me to general ward for 2 days in the name of observation and my infection was increasing. Then I was told that the infection had increased as I insisted to move to general ward (this was never my call). Then he shifted me to ICU on Day 10 and said will discharge in 2 days after infection is reduced. Though infection reduced, he came up with new story stating my immunity levels are very low and if I travel it will be a life risk. He emotionally played with my family's mind and convinced them to stay for another 3 days in ICU. Nothing was done in ICU, I was kept in isolation and was given tablets and IV which could have been given in normal ward itself (ICU charges extra). MD refused to answer any questions raised what is being done. He always said, we are looking into reports and will update accordingly and never came back despite we chasing him regularly. Nephrolith advised that dialysis is not required after surgery if the urine output is more than 500 ml in a day. Though my urine output was 1000ml initially I was put twice in dialysis, when questioned why dialysis is required when urine out is good, he refused to answer.

Very very very worst hospital Very worst time management Very worst hospitality Absence of professionalism. They charge money first. But their work is dead slow. Don't waste your time and money in this hospital. The nurses and receptionist talk very sweet like they care for you very much. But that is of no use... They just waste your time. Poor service.
