Exceptional Care at Apollo Women and Child Hospital, K.K. Nagar Hands down, Apollo Women and Child Hospital in K.K. Nagar has the best nursing staff we've encountered throughout our entire pregnancy journey. They are truly the backbone of the hospital -- incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive at every step. Coming from Canada, we were initially anxious about navigating pregnancy care in a different country. But the warmth and professionalism of the nursing team quickly put us at ease. We were under the care of Dr. Hemaleka and her team, and we cannot thank them enough. She was an exceptional gynecologist throughout -- calm, composed, and incredibly supportive. Over the past few months, she patiently answered all our questions, respected our preferences, and made us feel confident and reassured. Even in the labour room, her steady presence helped reduce my wife's anxiety, and we were blessed to welcome our beautiful baby boy with just a few pushes. However, we did face a major disappointment during the epidural process. We had always planned to opt for an epidural and had communicated this clearly. Unfortunately, the administration was not done correctly, and my wife continued to feel the full intensity of the pain. Despite repeated requests for the anesthesiologist to re-evaluate, there was no follow-up or corrective action. As a result, my wife had to go through the delivery without any pain relief, which was distressing and frustrating for both of us. That said, we still consider our overall experience to be very positive -- thanks to Dr. Hemaleka, her amazing team, and the outstanding nursing staff who made a real difference during this important time in our lives.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Patient Care & Unprofessional Staff Had a very disappointing experience with at Apollo Women & Child Care Hospital. He was inattentive, rushed through the consultation, and showed little empathy toward patient concerns. To make matters worse, the nurse helping in administering vaccinations was highly unprofessional--she did not follow proper procedures, was careless, and lacked basic courtesy. The hospital management was also inefficient, with long wait times and poor coordination. Expected much better from a reputed institution like Apollo. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking proper medical care. Apart from the consultation a procedural charge is also charged for vaccinations which was not taken earlier.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Shreedevi ma'am and the outstanding care she provided during my delivery. From our first consultation to the moment I gave birth, Dr. Shreedevi ma'am was incredibly Caring, supportive, patient, and attentive. She answered all my questions, made me feel completely at ease, and always kept my best interests in mind. I truly felt like I was in the best hands , and I'm so grateful for her expertise. Had a smooth and wonderful delivery experience at Apollo. The doctors and nursing staff were extremely supportive throughout. Grateful to doctor hemalekha mam and all nursing staffs for the excellent care given to me during hard times..And I am very thankful to paediatrician DR YASHVANTH sir for the excellent service during my baby's sick time. He answered all our questions with patience and care.Forever grateful to him.During the most worrying days of our baby's health, he stood by us like a pillar of strength. NICU is Very very worst. NICU Pediatric Doctors are very bad. They are like part time workers. PG doctors doesnt know any thing. Literally they don't have enough knowledge to treat the premature babies.. Doctors who are working here with full of negative thoughts make our baby to get more sick. I lost my precious baby here. Upto last week pregnancy Scan, the same doctors said baby were doing good. Once after delivered admitted to NICU they changed everything. On final handover my baby Gundas were nearer to us.... Doctor who treated not even mentioned the reason of failure. Management literally suck our lakhs & lakhs of money and my baby. Really other Apollo give world class treatment. But this hospital really not. Even normal clinic is much more better. So those who have late pregnancy (twins) by ivf, pls dont come here. Better go to 1. GovtHospital- they gave such nice treatment for preterm babies. 2. Rio those who have money go there. Its not just a review. Its words from painful father.......

I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care and support I received during one of the most important phase of my life -- my first delivery. Dr. Hemalekha, my gynecologist, truly made my delivery smooth and reassuring. Her unwavering support gave me so much confidence and peace of mind. her approach made all the difference -- I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to guide me through it all. Post delivery, we were equally blessed to have Dr. Yashwanth Kanakaraj as our pediatrician. The level of care and attention he has shown to babies in NICU (including our baby) were nothing short of outstanding. His knowledge, kindness, and ability to explain everything clearly and calmly made us feel comfortable and informed as new parents. He's approachable and always ready to answer even the smallest doubts to the new parents. My deep gratitude for the remarkable service and dedication provided by Dr Yashwanth kanakaraj and Dr Hemalekha.

We had a very good Experience till delivery because of Dr. Hemalekha and the nursing team, who done their job effectively with smiling face. After delivery we had to pass some bitter experience due to the health of our baby. But we feel that God sent Dr. Yashwanth,who talk with empathy,which boost up all saddening heart. We feel Doctors like Yashwanth are boon in the medical field because all need some loving and kind words when in distress.
