Dr. Devaki Scan - Madurai

Cost-wise, it's quite reasonable. However, there are a couple of major drawbacks. First, the car parking area is completely open with no shade -- your vehicle will feel like an oven, and even turning on the AC won't help much for a while. It's truly uncomfortable, especially in hot weather. Secondly, the canteen only accepts cash payments. I was really hungry but couldn't buy anything because I didn't have cash. In this digital age, it's very inconvenient and disappointing.

My wife Mrs. Murugeshwari admitted for Uterus problem.My wife condition was clearly explained and terated by Dr. Jai praveen sir. Admitted in B blk 3 rd floor. Surgery period were uneventful. Cost wise very best. Thank you so much sir . Treate ment was very good.

I would have given if there is a zero star option. 1) They get all your money when you register 2) They don't care about your time or your health. They care about collecting money and following some useless rules 3) The staffs are totally waste and rude and they run like a headless chicken. Their attitude is like you have got some disease so you end up paying so much money ... so you end up waiting . I don't care about your problems of waiting or organising myself to make your wait time lesser. They ask you to come at an appointment time but they never follow that timing . 4) They ask you to come in empty stomach for scanning and end up making you wait till 4 PM in the evening , eventually you have to treat for additional oilments related to this delayed lunch or breakfast or whatever you call it. 5) Poor pregnant ladies need to drink lot of water for Ultra sound scan but they don't have to go for toilet until they complete the scanning process. Even after scanning there is no proper toilet facility near by the scanning center. They have to run around searching for toilet . Pathetic. 6) For a renal scan you have to book an appointment earlier a a day or two.But this information will available to you only after you wait for an hour in the lobby after registering yourself. After an hour of waiting there in hot sun you go to the actual scanning reception and they tell you that you have to make an appointment which will be available after two days. So I have wasted my 1 hour of time in hot sun just to get an appointment after two days. Wow what a service. 7) But they are perfect in one thing. I.e collecting money upfront without any excuse. You pay now else there is no admission even inside the scanning lobby. You end up paying your hard earned money for a very bad experience. 8) Poor ladies couldn't even raise their voice against the staffs neither the management. 9) Devaki scans- if at all you see this comment - please think what will you do if your daughter goes through such hurdles carrying a child. 10) This is a business . I accept but there are some ethics in every business even in smuggling . Please check what type of business you are doing

Very bad customer service. You will be made to wait at least for a minimum of two long hours no matter if you have serious health issues or are completely normal. When you come out with the reports it will be definitely 3 to 4 hours. They eat our time and money. Do not go here for scans. There are many other places in Madurai which provide you quality scans. I went here for a scan last week. I had to take a lower abdominal scan. There was one female doctor and one male doctor in two different rooms. I observed that the female doctor diagnosed the pregnant ladies who came there for scans. She seemed to be the senior. That male doctor seemed to be less experienced and he was depending on a nurse there for all the scan related confirmations. The nurse with whom the male doctor was discussing everything was the all in all there. She had her own patients whom she managed to take inside the scan room after a less waiting time. All others had to wait to watch that . Imagine you will be asked to drink lots of water and when your bladder is full , you still have to wait for an hour or two for your turn to come. And this nurse in an uniform saree had no idea of what pain would a patient undergo. Inside the scan room for lower abdominal scan: there was a young girl inside who will push you to the bed and give instructions like the PT teacher in our schools. The male doctor was constantly taking the help of that nurse. The nurse was very rude and had no patience hurrying me to run out calling the next patient. The scan examination was hardly for two to three minutes . After 4 hours of long wait i finally got my reports in hand. 1. Rather than making the patients to wait like this they can fix up appointment timings . 2. Please make sure all your staffs are kind to the patients . No matter you get 100 or 300 patients. After all they are paying you more money comparatively. You are not giving a free service. 3. Employ trained staff inside the scan room. Be it doctor or the nurse. 4. Toilet: Toilets inside the scan area was unclean. There is a toilet just for name sake. The waste water from the wash basin outside the toilet runs into the toilet . If someone washes their hands or vomits in wash basin it runs to the toilets inside which is unhygienic. And if you are using the toilet that waste water runs to your feet. We are not supposed to enter the scan with our footwear.

Very very worst place to visit for scan, especially if you are pregnant. Waiting time is more then 4 hours. They don't even consider how pregnant ladies suffer, if they sit for long. Only one doctor is available to scan. Very very poor. Better don't visit here, if you are pregnant. Definitely you will suffer

Worst experience, very worst services who doesn't even understand about health issues of pregnant ladies.. especially receptiontist made to wait 4 hrs.. not even worth to give single star. Don't visit this hospital. Please management change this receptionist. They dnt even obey or treat patient in good way.

One of the least service I have got from this institute and money minded people. CT,MRI everything they don't follow the right procedures and they test the patience of all the patients.! Scan doctor was not so sincere at his work to close their assigned reports on time, they will review leisurely without any second thought.! Hope even the board members are not having the conniver the doctors. Literally wasting all our time.

Need lot of things to change. Waiting time, staff behavior, service everything is Terrible. This scan centre have good name in Madurai. They should maintain well to keep this good name.
