Dr. Government Hospital Idappadi

I visited Government Hospital Idappadi on 03rd January 2020 for getting a certificate from Ophthalmologist for driving license renewal at 9.00 AM. In the Ophthalmologist room (OP section), the doctor was not there, instead some other specialist was sitting.(the specialists are not sitting in their respective sections) When i inquired about the Ophthalmologist, the doctor said the Ophthalmologist doctor is in another building. I went to other building and inquired, the doctor was not there either, then I inquired a nurse, she told the doctor is in the same building (OP ward) from were i came from (It was a 100% lie). I inquired most of the nursers and doctors every one say different location and their own version. I was searching for the doctor everywhere based on the information, no where the Ophthalmologist doctor could be found. Through my sources i found out that the doctor is not in the hospital at all, although the duty time has started longtime back (i think 8.00 AM). I was waiting in the entrance of the hospital. The doctor show up at 10.45 AM. From this incident I understood that everybody in the hospital has internal setting not to reveal the arrival and leaving time.of the doctors. As a physically fit person, i can run between building to building, door to door, what about a person with emergency / patent is old aged / physically challenged. Mostly poor people visit Government hospitals and this how they have been treated, I really feel sorry for them. This is the condition of the Government Hospitals. I am a honest tax payer and this is the service i get back from the government. After being visited / vising so many foreign countries. I realized nothing is changed and never will be. Moreover, i am surprised to see how Government of Tamil Nadu got best governance award from Central government with such a poor service to public. Google Tamil Translation below.
