Visited for my mom's surgery. There is no proper appointment system. They ll never tell you the time but ask to come and wait from early morning until you loose your patience to nag them. Have skilled doctors. Admission and AC rooms are ok. Service wise need to improve a lot for both doctors and nurses. Food is ok. Expense is reasonable. For faster services better find another place.

Worst staff with poor management and communication. Waiting for a discharge summary and final bill can feel like an eternity, as if roots could grow under your feet.

KMCH Hospital Prioritizes Profits Over Patient Care MONEY MAKING MACHINE. PATIENTS as PRODUCTS when you go to this Profit Based Organization EXTRACT MONEY FROM PATIENT'S FAMILY. Hospital listed in Stock Market (Not sure why government let's hospital in stock market ??) For Stock to Go up, revenue and profit has to go up. As a result, there are Revenue Goals for every Doctor. Pressured to meet their Revenue Goals. My experience with KMCH Hospital in Coimbatore has been deeply disheartening. From the moment I entered, it became clear that the hospital prioritizes making money over genuinely caring for patients. Every step of the way, from consultations to treatments, felt like an opportunity for them to extract more money rather than addressing the health concerns of patients. The charges for tests, consultations, and treatments were exorbitant, often recommended without fully explaining their necessity. At times, I felt like decisions were driven more by financial incentives than by what was truly in the best interest of the patient. The hospital's focus seemed to be on conducting as many tests as possible, whether relevant or not, and pushing costly treatments without considering the patient's situation or financial burden. Moreover, the communication from the medical staff was poor, with little effort made to explain treatment plans or alternatives. This lack of transparency only reinforced the feeling that the hospital was more interested in maximizing profits than providing compassionate care. While the hospital may have state-of-the-art facilities, the experience feels transactional and impersonal. It's disheartening to think that what should be a place of healing has turned into a money-making machine. I would advise anyone considering KMCH Hospital to proceed with caution and seek a second opinion before committing to any recommended procedures or treatments. Overall, KMCH Hospital left me feeling like just another source of revenue rather than a patient in need of care.

I am visiting this hospital for last six months for my wife's treatment. Doctors and support staffs are very caring and friendly. Dr. Bharat Rengarajan, Dr. Vishnu vardhan takes very good care, support staffs like Shobha madam, Jasmine, Hari and others staffs give excellent support.

Always they say that rooms are not available. Rooms are always available. it is their marketing technique. they make you wait and run for rooms, so that you will be tired and you will not fight for other things. they make you tired and then give a room. People use their influence to get a room and they think proud of it. Since you fight for getting a room, you will be tired and you will not fight for treatment or find any faults in their treatments.
