I consider it an honour in thanking Dr. Balasubramaniam Sir and his assistant Hindhumathi Mam and the team for doing a wonderful job with my brother in law's open heart surgery. I am grateful for the special care and endless efforts taken towards treating us with the best services. Their approach in explaining every condition carefully and giving us the comfort of understanding the procedures helped calm our panicked fearful situation. They were very patient in handling my brother in law throughout pre and post operation. I appreciate the time taken to consider all our conditions and give us the best guidance on what to do. They were very approachable and available to us whenever we needed clarification on the treatment and procedures. They made our hassle less easier with their positive attitude and encouragement. July 2025 is etched in my life for ever. With humbling life experiences at "Sir Ivan Stedeford Hospital" and a belief after Meeting the great Senior Cardiac Surgeon and Human being Dr. P. Balasubramanian and his assistant Ms Indumathi that Human kindness and care still existed in the world. As my good providence brought me over to this hospital with major multiple blocks in my heart, the calm Surgeon reassured me and my family that we are in safe hands with greatest of expertise, skill and care. After the meeting with this "Living God" Dr. P. Balasubramanian, it was clear that we were at right place and it's been God's divine intervention to send us to him. What followed was naturally the best experience of my surgery and recovery in fastest time. Was operated on 4th July and my recovery enabled to discharge me by 7th day on 11th July, after the major Open heart Off Pump CABG surgery with 4 grafts!!!!! As i tried to learn more about this great surgeon ans his team, the more I was struck wondering how his dedicated service day and night, for poor and needy is helping the society. Such a senior surgeon ( who I understand, has done more than 20k open heart surgeries, stays humble in the quarters around the hospital, available for his patients all the time and takes utmost care of them. A simple pat on the back by him is so reassuring to his patients that all is well!!! A man of few words, giving Yeoman service to human kind, is a rare find in this Corporatised world of health services!!! Kudos to you sir Dr. P. Balasubramanian and your team!!!! We had a great experience at SIR IVAN STEDEFORD HOSPITAL. Dr. BALASUBRAMANIAM & Dr. INDHUMATHI and staffs took excellent care of my mom who underwent bypass surgery. He is very skilled and now my mom is fine after the surgery. He took personal care and made sure everything went well. He is God sent to take care of my mom. We are all happy under his care. My experience with Sir Ivan Stedford Hospital was fantastic, At the time when I shifted my mom from a different hospital for CABG Surgery, i do had my own opinion regarding the hospital, but as we met with Dr.Balasubramanium our opinion completely changed. His approach towards my mom has helped her feel more relaxed and confident approaching the surgery. Dr Balasubramanian sir explained the problem of my father related to heart and referred to CABG and he told us not to worry and he will take care of it.
