Came here for my Dad's Angioplasty. The entire experience is premium and they take care of you with full warmth and care. The nurses always introduces themselves and tell what they are going to do. The staffs absolutely makes sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. I have never seen such care given by any hospital. The entire management team works like a unit to make sure the patient is treated well. Only Negative is they dont inform prior that if a patient is moved to a post operative ward or an ICU..their room wont be available for the bystanders and have to wait at lounge which came as a shock to me. The food is great but it will get tiring and boring quickly. The security staffs is up and about 24*7 and they are a bit relaxed on movement of bystanders which is a commendable thing. Yes the hospital is at a premium rate but if you have a good insurance or the financial backing..it doesn't matter. Rooms are great I got the premium room which was around 10K/ night and suite rooms are available for those who need it. But the level of care and attention remains the same whichever room you are in.

Rooms are spacious and technical process is great. While it is generally a good hospital overall, it is expensive and the services/support isn't up to the mark for the pricing. Also it is very hard to reach someone relevant on the phone relevant that can solve your problem or even address the concern. They will have fancy printed instructions and QR codes, none of those work. This is mostly a middle and higher management issue while heavier workload falls on the ground level employees who are running the ship. Doctors change the protocol of patients with long history, none of the doctor's walking into the room seen to have looked at past history available in their systems. Even in case of a patient that they themselves diagnosed with short term memory loss, they will ask the patient for all details and just accept that as needed information. It was excellent three years ago not so much now. Management team profiles surveys then asks you to sign off as "very good" or "excellent". At the same level as Pantaloons customer survey tactics. There are still many employees who are great but I'm concerned as their standards seem to have slipped. The cafeteria provides reasonable cost options for patient attenders/family, etc
I was quite disappointed with our experience at MGM. While the food was satisfactory and the doctors were competent, the overall service fell short of expectations. The telephone numbers for services were ineffective, often ringing without response. The nurse call system was also very slow to respond, and to visit nursing station to get assistance. When I went outside and informed nurse they assured they will take care but unfortunately my father pressed the nurse calling button for assistance and they never came even after 15 min. It was very bad experience. The room facilities had several issues, including a malfunctioning screen in our twin-sharing room that was not yet replaced even after complaining. Furthermore, the water supply was yellow in color but was rectified after we brought it to the attention of the staff. The TV was also non-functional until we reported the issue. It appears that problems are only addressed when patients actively complain. Despite the hospital's efforts to solicit feedback, our experience suggests that there is significant room for improvement in terms of responsiveness and service quality. I hope that the hospital will take constructive steps to address these issues and enhance the patient experience. Attaching some pictures for reference. Update : even after multiple instances still they don't care on improving the service. Really fedup with the service from Nurses. Very worst service. Nobody cares about anything. Really feeling irritated. Update: the process of discharge was smooth. Also the treatment of doctor was excellent. So giving 3 star Update : came for review and gave the car for parking , last time it was 2 hours 10 sec and now 2 hours 7 min . The valet parking is a big scam. They are purposefully doing this cheating as I was waiting more than 10 min for my car and they came after 15 min and took 75 rs instead of 50 rs . Very bad experience.
I had my hemithyroidectomy surgery done in MGM Hospital. Prof. Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty (ENT) is a very experienced and kind person. He helped me to come out of my fear of going through the surgery. The surgery was performed in a very neat and clean manner. All the nurses were very kind and helpful. The ward girls and house keeping did their job perfectly. Overall, my surgery and stay experience was very perfect. I recommend MGM Hospital for highly efficient doctor and surgeries.

The medical team took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all our concerns were addressed. My mom recently got admitted in MGM. it was suggested by one of my friend and i must say i had an awesome experience in MGM Hospital. staff is very nice. super clean and nicely maintained Hospital with very nice rooms and toilet. food is great, Good thing is they will ask patient's choice and will give multiple food options based on your choice food will be delivered, never seen this before in any hospital. I was surprised to see when management team reached out to me in person for any feedback and concerns. really amazing. additional first Hospital where I see a valet parking.
My wife and I had a rare experience of world class customer care at MGM Healthcare @ Nelson Manickam Road where we went for our Basic Preventive Healthcare check up. While all those we encountered in our service chain today were very good, two of them were outstanding and deserve a special mention. Ms. Kalairasi at the reception desk took care of us, as well as, all other patients in a very professional, swift and efficient way with a lot of courtesy and care. Ms. Revathi who took our blood also ensured we had a painless experience. The others with her were also very professional and friendly. Last but not least, since we came fasting, we received coupons for breakfast, where the food was as good as the well-known branded breakfast restaurants in Chennai!! Thanks to everyone involved who were mentioned or not mentioned who took care of us at MGM Healthcare.
They provide a great atmosphere, good infrastructure, and a prime location. They offer strong competition to other corporate hospitals like Apollo. However, I'm unsure about the expertise of their specialists for treatments.
