Dr. Manoj is the main reason why we lost our dad. He convinces everyone with sugarcoated words that he is the expert in handling heart issues but in reality he will play in our loved one's life. We as a family went through an ordeal after admitting our father under his guidance. Admitted my dad for angioplasty - stenting, Dr.Manoj complicated the procedure to an extent where he came out claiming since he is an expert he handled those complications but he was the one who caused it in the first place due to his inefficiency. After 5 days of procedure, my dad vomited blood and fell unconscious. It clearly points to issues in stenting but Dr.Manoj related it to the co-morbidity and blamed the issue on it. They were fully aware of the co-morbid condition pre-stenting but just made that as scapegoat to escape from their inefficiency. Dr. Manoj kept lying on face that heart issue is resolved due to his expert intervention but in reality that was the main factor why my dad suffered cardiac arrest. After 3 weeks being in CCU, all they did was managing the symptoms instead of fixing what went bad during the stenting procedure. Mysteriously on a Friday night when the entire hospital activity slowed down, they announced my dad is no more. Dr.Manoj and the Kauvery hospital where he is working, are money minded to the extent you can't even imagine. My dad was in freezer box to be taken home, they had price negotiation on the fees and outstanding payment for over 3 hours late at night. They called Dr.Manoj to see if he can adjust his fees, he was fixed on his fees without an remorse. To top it all, the admin who was negotiating with us over the fees, asked us - "of all other available doctors, how did you guys end up trusting Dr.Manoj for this procedure". It hit us hard when it comes from their own. Please never take your loved one's to Dr.Manoj if you want to see them alive.

I recently had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Manoj and I cannot express how grateful I am for his exceptional care. From the moment I walked into, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Dr. took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and treatment options, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. His expertise and dedication are truly remarkable, and I credit him with giving me a second chance at life. I highly recommend Dr. Manoj to anyone in need of a compassionate and skilled cardiologist."

To layman, like my father, this would seem everything will be alright as she had been given the best of care. However, after 24 hours, on tuesday, we were told that her kidney is not supporting as the output is 15 ml only. I met the assistant nephrologist dr. Balaji who said that dialysis has to be performed which they will do on Wednesday. However, wednesday morning, Dr.Manoj informed us that her liver has also got affected and there was risk of 24-48 hours. We met Dr. Balasubramaniam, senior nephrologist, as required by Dr.Manoj, who suggested for CRRT (Continous Renal Replacement Therapy), it is a type of temporary dialysis. This procedure was started on Wednesday. However, my mom had cardiac arrest on the same night and revived. The dialysis was stopped to monitor and restarted on thursday morning. I questioned Dr.Balasubraminam if the attack was due to the dialysis. He maintained his stand that he needs a good heart to perform the dialysis and Dr. Manoj maintained that the heart was good for the dialysis process. Butchers..hand in glove to mint money. CRRT costs around 50,000 per day. My mom passed away due to cardiac arrest on Friday night. As a layman, through out during my visits to ICU i had noted that the heart pressure was 80/60. It even went down to 20 on thursday. Dr.Manoj said that he is treating her for the instable heart pressure These are the questions to the doctor: a) You knew that dye does not gets absorbed in the body and has to be flushed out only through urine. Why you did not take action to flush it out? Isn't it a risk mitigation? Did you knew that it wouldn't help? b) You may say that the heart wasn't initially good, then why you did not stop with only angiogram and proceeded with angioplasty inspite. Medical management could have been suggested know. Did you want to meet the target set by your corporate hospital or train your juniors? Is my mom a guinea pig? This doctor might be a Savior to some, but i would suggest that he too is a corporate doctor minting money. Be prepared for the worst when handing over your near and dear ones to him. I have all recordings of the communication i have had in the hospital to authenticate my stand.

My mom had a heart attack on April 6. She went to MGM Healthcare and angioplasty was performed to remove a block that caused the attack by Dr. Sarada. In medical terms, in left PCI. During the process itself it was diagnosed that she has significant blockage in Right Coronary Artery but advised for medical management instead of another stent placement. I asked the Dr. why they did not put the stent while treating the PCI. I was appraised that it is not safe to use too much of dye (used during angioplasty) as it would affect the kidney. I was justified as my mother had gone on emergency and the doctors were not aware of her kidney condition and did not want to take any chance. My father had undergone angioplasty in Coimbatore and got acquainted with Dr. Manoj for only follow-up at Chennai. He periodically visited him for cardiac care. My mother wanted to have a second opinion/consultation with Dr.Manoj. She had an impression that he has so long years of experience and had recently done angioplasty on a 84 year old patient, which Dr.Manoj had put in his status in WhatsApp(Sort of advertisement) He appraised her that the other block is cat on the wall type. Hence has to be addressed with only angioplasty and not medical management. He told her that she is like his mom and would take adequate efforts to do his best(sort of luring a patient). He told my dad that he will be using a special balloon to treat her and the cost is not covered under insurance. I was apprehensive about the suggestion and wanted a third opinion. Because the special balloon, a rotablator must be used only by a well trained hands. It has the risk of death on the table if not used properly. But alas, my parents were not prepared for another appointment with a different doctor and had complete confidence in Dr.Manoj. In fact, my mom handed over her jewelry to us to compensate the cost. We had no option but to go ahead with the procedure as my mom was cent percent convinced with the doctor. The said day, i would call it black Monday, he started the procedure around 7.30 a.m. This procedure takes hardly 15-30 minutes. We were very tensed when even after 2 hours we did not have any update. At 12 o'clock, doctor called us inside and drew the picture of a heart. He said that in the right they used the dye to check if there was a block and then found that there was adequate blood flow. Then in the right they used the balloon and then put 2 stent's. However, one of the stent was not placed properly. They tried to set it right but the movement put a hole( in medical term, perforation)in the blood vessel. That caused a cardiac arrest for 20 seconds since it was a cathlab and he being an experienced doctor. He removed the oozed blood and covered the hole with another stent and revived her. She was under observation in the lab itself for 2 hours and is being shifted to ICU for observation for next 24 hours. She was under ventilator support for breathing and had a heart pump to support the heart. I will post the remaining ordeal in next part.

Dr Manoj's kindness and his holistic approach has helped my mother survive stroke that she suffered four years ago. If not for him on duty the night my mother suffered stroke she may not have been with us today. Dr Manoj has successfully managed her heart condition and medications such that my mother continues to be a well controlled hypertension patient. Dr Manoj goes beyond what he is required to deliver as a cardiologist and ensures that my mother receives support from him in maintaining her overall health.

He did an angioplastry for my MIL. The risk of angioplastry is 1% but MIL never came back home alive from hospital. You can take your near and dear ones to him if you want to ensure that they never come back home alive. He convinced my MIL that he was going to use new technological stent on MIL. This has not be tested in market yet and used my MIL as guinea pig and obviously the experiment didn't go as intended. After angioplastry the patient struggled in lifesupport for 4 days and survived 2 more heart attacks. He just saw the patient as if there was no hope and let her pass on 5th day. He is horrible.
