Avoid Admission - Only Visit for Consultation If you're considering this hospital, I would only recommend it for doctor consultations -- the doctors are generally good. However, do not get admitted here. The nursing care is extremely poor. In my experience, the nurses were rude, inattentive, and unprofessional. You'll often need to remind them repeatedly for basic tasks like administering drips or giving prescribed medications. As an attender, you'll end up doing the job of a nurse while they simply supervise -- and poorly at that. Despite the high room charges (about 2,700 + 500/day for a non-AC 4-bed shared room), the treatment feels no better than a government facility. There's no value for the money you're paying. Adding to that, you'll be charged around 1,000 per doctor per visit -- and during a 3-day admission, we have 7 doctor visits, even though only one was relevant to the condition. That's 7,000 for a few minutes of irrelevant visits. The equipment used are very old, and if you're attending to a patient, you may get nothing more than a basic chair to sit on through the night. Also, don't expect any doctors to be available at night -- they won't be. For a 3 day stay related to dehydration and vomiting, I was charged 37K. In short: Consult here if needed, but choose another hospital for admission. You'll get better care, updated facilities, and far better peace of mind for the same or even lower cost.

Today I visited the in the evening.... My kid was continuously coughing... We came for purchase, actually didn't have any plan for going to hospital... I went to casuality..there staff nurse behaviour was rude ... Asking for priscription...i said I'm not having , first i asked for neb (levolin) she said with out prescription they won't...its accepted but just asked atleast to check my child and prescribe for low dose syrup or call to the doctor and pls check... Nurse replied that is not my job ... If i call him even then he didn't pickup the phone wat will u do ?? You must have priscription all time in ur bag , u go and bring the prescription then we will give you syrup...All these irritating words she used..... My doubt is if a baby comes with fever and cold wont you check the level of fever or lungs using sethescope.... They didn't even touched my kid... How the patient will visit ur clinic next time... I asked her name but she refused to say ... Sister who was lean and applying dark lipstick... She is not fit to be as Nurse... 3.8.25 evening 7.20pm

Was able to consult the doctor quickly without any trouble but, after leaving the casuality an old nurse came and asked for 150 rs as consultation fees. Something didn't seem right to pay the amount. Also, they did not provide a receipt at the pharmacy.

I was in there for observation this December 2024 due to dysentery and vomiting. Had low BP and the climate was too chill. The management refused to provide a bedsheet to me and my attender that too in a very chill time. We stayed there overnight without sleep in high cold and a room full of mosquitoes. They refused to give even a pillow to the attender. Worst experience. Don't visit the hospital for emergency.

We had admitted our younger brother who had experienced high fever! He was quickly diagnosed with Dengue fever and received the best treatment possible. His recovery was in 6 days. There was a 24/7 support from the complete medical team! All credit to the doctors and the medical staff who took care with great deal of professionalism. I recently accompanied my grandmother to Dr.Rabindrans for her medical needs, and I must say, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. She was admitted due to stomach swelling, and the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis was made promptly and accurately by the medical team. Having all the necessary consultants from various specialties under one roof greatly streamlined the process of diagnosis and treatment. Am happy to share my pleasurable experiences about this hospital wherein I admitted my wife due to her sudden illness, got discharged today and the entire Team is very receptive, cordial, friendly, care and concerned and the way in which they treat the patients is indeed commendable and I personally wish to record my sincere appreciation and a ton thanks to Mr Pradeep, Manager well coordinated with the most experienced Dr R N Baba Sir who is very positive and courteous right from the beginning diagnoses exactly the nature of illness strongly supported by Dr Paranthaman Sir who is optimistic totally with a smiling face always diagnosed by Dr Balamurali Sir within no time obviously supported by Dr S Nakkeerar on many an occasion fully wherein I shall be failing in my duty if I forget to mention the services of the nursing staff Ms Anitha & Ms. Mahasree who are always ready in the helping tendency throughout 24 hours rendered their services with full commitment and dedication. This hospital renders services to the public on service motive, well maintained, hygienically monitored in all aspects. We are completely now satisfied with the excellent commendable services offered by Dr Rabindran's Hospital, Ambattur. Trust worthy, calm and collected team, one can rely completely with this hospital who outperforms others in this field. I fully recommend this hospital for any type of treatment as this caters to the needy public.

I was admitted to Rabindranath Hospital for a total abdominal hysterectomy, and the operation was performed by Dr. Revathi Baba, an excellent surgeon.
