Dr joy Thomas is a gifted cardiologist , i have been his patient since 2009 , he saved my life 2 times from heart attack. Me and my family seeing him as a god. Honest human being and best doctor, he keeps very low profile, easy to approach, he does not do unncessary tests or give unwanted medicines. Sees only few patients every day but takes time to examine, Am in medical field, seen doctors globally but very hard to see some one as best as him. His timing is perfect and should there be delay is because he is attending tobanother patient. With all respects to the experience of the doctor. Writing this on behalf of my close acquaintance who met this doctor 3 weeks ago. First the doctor lacks patience, might be due to his age but he has to stay on his limits which he overruled it on that day. To my surprise, his experience and education doesn't teach him how to treat patients? Actual waste of time Meeting him. A complete wrong choice from my side. The patient has got mentally disturbed from his harsh behaviour. Humiliating very badly. There are doctors who are still down to earth and treat patients in a congenial way, irrespective of the wonders they do in the field of cardiology. Peak regrets from my side. Treating all patients equally is an ultimate epitome of quality to this field, unfortunately there is a dearth of this quality. I tried ringing you up, but not able to connect. So posting it publicly. Kindly change your attitude and don't terrify patients.

Give him a BP tablet! He ruins your day for sure. Treating mentally in a good manner is most important while attending the patient. Second opinion with other doctor is advisable.

One of the best cardiologist available in Chennai. Performed heart operation for my father Mr. S.Karunamoorthy (66 years) to plant stent in 2008. Recently went for review in his cliniq at mogappair. Dr. Joy Thomas is a HONEST, HUMBLE, USER FRIENDLY, CARING, and NO OTHER WORDSas we know, we the biggest family as my father, father-in-law, uncle and even my mother who get medicated.
