I recently visited Aakash Hospital as my mom was admitted for her kidney stones treatment, and I am extremely happy with the care and services provided. *Day Shift Nurse Mrs. THENAARASI* was very kind, compassionate, and professional. She ensured my mom was comfortable and attended to all her needs with a smile, making the day much easier for us. *Night Shift Nurse Mrs. NAVEENA* was equally amazing, offering attentive and patient care throughout the night. Her calm approach and dedication gave us a lot of reassurance during this stressful time. **The housekeeping Akka both did ** an excellent job maintaining the hospital's cleanliness. Every area was spotless, and they worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. The hospital maintenance was equally impressive, with well-maintained facilities, modern equipment, and a well-organized setup that made everything run smoothly. The treatment provided by the doctors and medical staff was exceptional. They explained everything clearly and ensured the best care for my mom, which made us feel confident and secure. Had a very disappointing experience in this hospital. We had taken treatment here about a year ago where the service was not at all good for the In Patient. The nurses were not professional in handling the patient and they seemed to be working only when Senior Doctors are around. Negligence in giving the tablet or the care towards the patient was well observed. All these lead to an unfortunate end. Cleanliness also needs to be improved. Bedsheets were not changed on everyday basis. Only after several reminders things are happening .

I feel proud such good facility hospitals in our north Chennai, I request the management to react other than 5 star comments also as a feedback of your clients to correct your small missing things to improve and grow more. Consulted with Gastroenterologist Dr.R.Vinoth Kumar. He gave prescriptions with in a minute without full investigation to the patient"s satisfaction. too much hurry burry. Pharmacist told to take Esomoprozole tablet and Sucralfate syrup after food. I know this tablet is mostly before food. Even after my repeated questions that pharmacist stated that the doctor didn't mention anything in the prescription. Management should educate their pharmacists to give proper instructions over Seperate envelopes as attached if doctors forget to write the before or after food details . Management should educate their doctors to listen from patients and ask some more questions before write prescriptions. So that the patients feel happy about the Doctor"s investigation and build confident on Doctor. Thanks .

Reason I choose for my any treatment in aakash hospital was there is a quick action taken without any delay. And nursing staffs are very responsive and doctors frequently asked about my health throughout the treatment. I liked the rooms and it's maintenance.

Had a frustrating experience at the cash counter. Initially, I was told the medicine would cost "four hundred something" (I don't remember the exact amount). I was then asked to collect the medicine first. After that, I was told to pay 572. When I questioned the change, the staff checked the medicine again and said the actual price was 628. I paid because I was in a hurry, but the whole experience was quite disappointing. How can the price of a medicine change three times in just five minutes? It raises serious concerns about whether they're giving a different brand than what the doctor prescribed--without even informing me. Deeply disturbing and unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting.

Fully money minded. Poor people don't go this hospital. Please avoid this worst hospital. I admitted my wife for C-section. First I discussed with Admin Deepa and Dr. Priya, They confirmed 60,000 + non claim charges. So, I expected the bill amount will go near 1 lakh. But the final bill goes near 3 lakh for C-section. And admin people and hospital side not provide valid reason for this amount. That time I'm helpless. I never experienced (pls don't again) in my life. Now I need to settle this 3 lakh loan amount. 0 *

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Akash Hospital when my father required emergency care after a heart attack. While the immediate treatment he received was satisfactory, my issues began after his surgery. Firstly, we were never informed about the fees or charges upfront. Despite repeatedly asking, the only information I received was a demand to pay 1.5 lakhs, with no clear breakdown of costs. Final bill was 2.7 Lakhs which was too high as we compared with other hospitals. The billing department was frustratingly unhelpful. They expected us to ask every question and were rarely available at the admin office. As a result, I had to stay at the hospital, constantly trying to figure out what was going on, all while my father was left unattended. To make matters worse, I had a meeting with the hospital owner to discuss these concerns. Unfortunately, he was indifferent to my situation, lounging in a chair and showing no real concern for the issues, I raised. He even went so far as to say that I could record our conversation, which felt highly unprofessional and dismissive. Lastly, Dr. Arunkumar, who was part of my father's care, was extremely unhelpful. His responses to my questions were frustrating and dismissive, often telling me not to "watch TV serials" when I asked about the medical details. His attitude was far from what you would expect from someone in his position. Frankly, I don't believe he deserves to be a doctor. Overall, my experience at Akash Hospital was disappointing, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their communication and customer service. I am very sure they dont even respond to poor feedback.
