Dr. Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali

Got admitted here for laparoscopy gallbladder removal surgery recently under Dr MS Bedi and team, The doctor was very kind to give me the next day's admission date as i requested. Dr. Dheeraj, Dr. Amrit,Dr. Ravitej were very cooperative in the entire process. Fyi I availed health insurance cashless option, bill was around 60k. The OT experience was good and the recovery room was also nice. Food was good, nursing staff was prompt and canteen related orders were served faster. Feedback/Suggestion: the BROWN colour dress staff seems short in numbers and they seem to be the backbone of hospital day to day operations, kindly look into the same and ensure proper compensation is being provided to ground staff to reduce the iteration rate.

My father was admitted to Max Super Speciality hospital Mohali. The doctor Ramesh Sen was amazing as expected and very encouraging. The 1 star review is just for the management. He was admitted to a double occupancy room which we asked for but that room was meant for single Occupancy and is just a sleeping room for 1 person. They instead turned into double occupancy. There was no movement possible, and even his bed couldn't be turned up as the side table was getting stuck. Doctors themselves visited and asked to put a review stating he can't even do some movements with walker as it cannot accomodate it. The pictures will share more light on the plight of ours. The hospital has fantastic doctor, no doubt but the management is not great. Especially some staff, they are very rude and don't listen. Bed management is honestly a mess here.

I recently visited Max Hospital for a health checkup under the Health Shield 360 plan, and my experience was extremely disappointing. First, the PHP reception staff was very rude and lacked basic courtesy in their communication. Then, when I proceeded to the ECG section, I had to wait for an unusually long time. Patients who arrived after me were given priority, especially those with personal references, while I was left waiting. When I inquired about the delay, the staff misbehaved with me and told me that patients under this scheme had to wait. However, I noticed that several other patients with the same policy were attended to before me. After a long argument, they finally conducted my ECG. The hospital's approach was highly unprofessional and unfair. I am extremely disappointed with their service and would like to give negative feedback. I am attaching photographs of the staff members who were extremely rude and failed to provide fair treatment.

Well I have a few important concerns to share about this hospital and mind you I am writing this after I have witnessed two hospitalisations in the same just a few months apart. First and foremost, I would like to illustrate that the doctors and their consultations are top notch, though a bit on the pricier side. I have visited a couple of doctors in various departments all through the past 12 years or so, and have never found any significant issues in the respective realm ever. The average rating actually stems from the management of the other fields that comprises the experience for a patient admitted in this hospital. And I would shed light on those areas one by one: 1. The Admission process- This particular section of the management is in shambles to put it mildly. I have witnessed a minimum wait time of 2 hours to at least 8 hours just to get a bed. And I am sharing my own experience in December 2024 when I was coughing out my lungs and running a fever of 103 degrees and still was put on a waitlist and not offered any chair or wheelchair at least from anyone! The unfortunate aspect is that the admission dues will be taken promptly but the minimum help to the patient won't be ensured! 2. The nursing staff- I consider the nurses and the housekeeping staff to be the most hardworking amongst all of the other departments in a hospital however, in a recent hospitalisation for my husband, the nurses put on night duty weren't professionally trained and I even witnessed a nurse puncture the IV bag through her ball point pen I immediately reprimanded her and then she became careful but what about the patients who ain't able to question such practice when they are incapacitated? 3. The housekeeping staff- on an average the housekeeping staff always ensures hygiene is maintained through and through by keeping the room and especially the bathroom spotless. However, there remained a persistent issue of houseflies buzzing around in the room and when we pointed out, we were told that a "special" assistant just to swat the flies out would come at a certain time which he apparently never did and the issue never resolved! I have a very simple question: who is responsible for the risk of infection and infestation in the patient in case of an emergency? I wold like to emphasise the GDA's posted on duty are the most diligent ones in fulfilling their assigned work and even though they are understaffed, they try and provide comfort and assistance to the patient as humanly as possible. I would expect Max hospital to take a deeper look in the management anomalies and create a robust system to address the issues and expedite the improvements!

My experience at Max Hospital Mohali was excellent. The doctors were highly skilled and explained everything clearly, making me feel confident in their care. The nursing staff was incredibly attentive and compassionate, ensuring my comfort throughout my stay. The facilities were clean and modern, contributing to a very positive environment. I highly recommend Max Hospital Mohali for their professional and caring approach to patient well-being."

Hi. I was recently admitted to Max hospital Mohali for Bypass surgery. Before admission I had consulted Dr Shashi Jindal about the problem. When I went to him I was in a very bewildered state as I had a stunt last year and was not expecting any further problems. But Dr Jindal explained everything so nicely, thoroughly and humanly that all my queries were resolved. My surgery was fixed one week after my consultation with him. During this period he always responded to my messages promptly. Perhaps he is the only dr I have found who gave me his personal no. Then came the day of admission. I found the admission process was a bit slow. The staff on admission duty was not too professional and no arrangements were there for the patient before the process was over. But once the admission was done and I was taken to the CTVS everything was just taken out of our hands. The staff present there took the charge so professionally and in a hassle free manner. From 19/7/25 to 28/7/25 I was there and I literally felt lost when I was discharged from there. I owe my life to Dr Jindal and Dr Shailesh Ojha, the best doctors. The other team of drs Dr Akshay, Dr Bharat, Dr Charanpreet, Dr Sudha , Dr Vinay were all exemplary. I am sorry if I am forgetting any name as my mind was in a foggy situation. The whole of nursing staff, Ms Priyanka, sumandeep, Karam,Kamal, Neelam , Gurpreet, Hanoop, Rajwant, Banita( here I am definitely forgetting names. Sorry for that), deserve a five star rating. They are so humane, so caring, so professional and so friendly that despite my severe illness I had the best of time there. The GDA staff was good but could have been better. The physiotherapist team was very good. I remember them everyday when I do my exercises. Only point of discomfort was that the ac was not working properly for three days despite repeated complaints Secondly the food could have been better. All the dishes tasted the same. Thank you everyone for my surgery and recovery.

Her ability to explain procedures and updates in a calm, reassuring manner helped ease our anxieties during a very difficult time. My father often remarked how safe and cared for he felt in her presence. Whether it was managing his pain with great care, monitoring his progress meticulously, or simply offering a warm smile during early morning rounds.

I recently underwent a surgery at Max hospital Mohali and I couldn't be more grateful for the outstanding care I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. The surgical team, led by Dr. Anupam Goel, was exceptional--explaining the procedure clearly, answering all my questions, and making me feel at ease. The surgery went smoothly, and the post-operative care was just as impressive. Nurses of 3rd floor 1st counter checked in regularly, managed my pain effectively, and ensured I was comfortable throughout my recovery. Thanks to the entire team, my recovery has been steady and without complications. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of surgical care. Their expertise and compassion truly make a difference.
