Dr. Accord Hospitals

This hospital not even eligible for one star rating. Few months back my uncle met with an accident so for that reason we went there. They did MRI and some basic tests and charged more tha 70k for just 14 hours time frame. They refused to give discharge my uncle saying patient condition is critical. Even they didn't clean bloods in their hand. Such a rude and unprofessional staff were there. I asked for bill details they waited me for hours and the worst thing I have experienced is that the billing department. They even don't know what treatment going to have. They might have setup the target if person got admitted we need to charge that much. I rushed my patient to another hospital otherwise they would have billed me more that 2-3 lakhs. Thing before going there

Massive billing scam Our patient was admitted here and unfortunately passed away. We didn't have any insurance, so we had already paid for every medicine and test ourselves. It was time to take our patient home at 5:00 am, but at that time, there was no one available from the billing department. just a random person who had no clue about the billing. We had already paid the operation fees and a deposit of 1 lakh excluding medicines and test. When we asked for the remaining amount, he randomly told us we had to pay 2 lakhs more. The patient was only in the hospital for one and a half days. When we questioned how they came up with this figure and showed the previous billing details and discussions to the billing advisor, he suddenly reduced the remaining amount to 50,000 -- again, without any proper calculation. They said, "Pay this amount now and you'll get the final bill in two days." I asked how they could know the final amount without a proper bill and why we should pay a random amount upfront. They said, "Pay 50,000 now -- if the final bill is more, we won't ask for more, and if it's less, we'll refund the difference." We had no choice but to pay because no one from the billing department was answering calls. A few days later, I went back to get the actual bill. When I saw it, I realized they had simply adjusted the total to match the amount we had already paid, including the tests and medicines we had paid for separately. I asked them about the unused medicines -- what about the money for those? And what was the actual final amount? How could I know whether the real bill was actually higher or lower than the last amount we paid? They just said, "It's been too long now, so nobody remembers the exact details.", so we just adjusted the bill to match what you paid. We can't show a different figure." They even adjusted the refund for unused medicines within the same total -- so it didn't actually reduce the amount. What was the point of seeing that bill then? It was just made-up numbers to match the payments, not the real billing details. They openly admitted it was an adjusted bill based on what we had paid, not the actual charges So there was no way to get our extra money back. Truly a massive scam. Unbelievable!!

Extremely Disappointed with Accord Hospital, Moshi I visited Accord Hospital in Moshi for a minor illness to my mother, expecting professional care and reasonable charges. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. I was shocked to receive a bill of 68,000 for just a 2 days n few hours of basic treatment, with no clear explanation of why the health issue my mother observed. We had to pay 15 k rs for no reason even though hospital claimed 46 thousand from Insurence company. The lack of transparency in billing was alarming. Additional charges were applied without prior information, and the staff seemed more focused on administrative formalities than patient care . E.g. They charged 4800 rs for a Dr who didn't even was in picture during the period. Along with food (which we refused due to it's Qlty), admin charges in thousands, icu monitor .. etc Overall, I found the services at Accord Hospital to be subpar and not reflective of the fees charged. I would advise others to consider alternative healthcare facilities that prioritize patient well-being and maintain transparency in their operations and BILLING. Deducted some amount from final bill though after discussing for an hour for the things we which didn't even availed ! Like food etc. Certainly not recommend this hospital due to their looting billing system and their way of handling these things. Just for an exp. if you just rome around their billing - insurance desks, you will see people extremely disappointed cursing these people for the same kind of experience I jotted down here. I urge government authorities to audit this hospitals overall things if possible so that common people get fare hospital bills and good health care facilities against their hard earned money.

At first sight, 5 star for quality of Dr Abhijeet ghangale (Neurosurgeon). My son (13Y) met with an accident in jan 25 and under serious conditio of head injury shifted to accord hospital moshi. Even though it was Sunday, hospital team could manage to start operation (craniotomy) within 45 min of admission and saved my children. We are grateful to Dr Abhijeet ghangale sir (neurosurgeon) who is not less than god who saved our child. Even hospital unit head Dr Kranti mam is also very humble and supportive. Special mention for Dr Harshal (ICU RMO) for personnel care and attn given to the patient and Mansi mam ( co ordinator) for quick response in need. Problem is with billing & admin dept. Discharge process started at 1 pm and we held back till 10.15 PM for delay in insurance approval due to billing dept mistakes & modified billing amount in betn resulting in 4-5 times re approvals. Worst part is, though my insurance covered consumable they charged me INR 1500 towards some silly things like infection control/gauge swab etc and for this mere INR 1500 they made me wait for close 3 hrs to for re approvals. senior team at billing is un reachable. Even charged for high admin cost but same was waived off as part of negotiation. Service of housekeeping and patient care (nursing) particularly at private rooms needs to be improved...

The Emergency team saved my life when I had a stroke. They recognized the signs quickly and gave me the right treatment within minutes. I can't thank them enough. The follow-up care and support from the neurology department were outstanding. They not only treated my condition but helped me understand it too. Thank you Accord Hospital

The entire team from the reception and admission staff to the surgical and nursing teams went above and beyond to ensure my mother felt comfortable and well cared.

From admission to discharge, the entire experience at this hospital exceeded my expectations. The doctors were knowledgeable, the nurses were attentive, and every staff member I encountered was kind and respectful. I felt like I was truly in good hands.
