My niece was recently admitted here due to a health issue. While I appreciate the medical support I received, I believe there's room for improvement. . Management could be more organized at times, things felt delayed or uncoordinated, which added stress. . Cleanliness needs more attention, especially in the washrooms and waiting areas. . The staff's behaviour was generally polite, but some members seemed rushed or inattentive at times. A little more empathy and attentiveness would really improve the patient experience. To Whom It May Concern, Subject: Feedback and Incident Report Regarding EMG Security Guard Services at D.Y. Patil Hospital I am writing to bring to your attention a serious incident involving one of the EMG security guards deployed at D.Y. Patil Hospital on the evening of 12th June 2025, around 8:30 PM. My father, Mr. Ramesh More, was admitted on the 3rd floor, E3-B Ward of the hospital. At the time, all discharge procedures had been completed. As part of the standard process, we needed to show the discharge file to the security personnel before exiting. Due to a small confusion, my mother mistakenly took the file downstairs while we were still waiting upstairs with the patient. As my father (the patient) walked from the ward towards the lift, a security guard from Ward E3-A approached in an extremely aggressive and alarming manner, as if he was running after the patient with the intention to harm him. The behavior was not only unprofessional but also frightening, especially for a recovering patient. Moreover, when we tried to explain the situation calmly, the guard spoke in an inappropriate and aggressive tone. He threatened us, saying he would "campaign" against us. We responded that he could do whatever he wished and urged him to act responsibly. Unfortunately, we do not have the name of the security guard, but we do have a photograph of the individual, which we are attaching to this report for identification purposes. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where patients and their families expect safety, support, and respectful communication from the staff, including security personnel. We request that this matter be looked into seriously and appropriate action be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

DY Patil Hospital provides excellent healthcare services. I was admitted for a short period and received timely treatment and great support from the staff. Well maintained,clean, and hygienic hospital and also well equipt with modern facilities. Very cooperative staff and doctors. In the morning , you don't have to wait in queue, but after 11 am, you have to wait in a long queue. Canteen facilities are available.It takes 5 mins from Nerul Station by Rickshaw @Rs.30.
