Karuna Hospital, located in Borivali West, Mumbai, is a multi-specialty medical facility established in 1971 and operated by the Mission Sisters of Ajmer. The hospital offers a range of healthcare services, including general medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiology, pain management, and ophthalmology. Me visited hospital during Jan & Feb 2025 during my brother in law Mr Naresh Gautam's treatment of Diabetic foot, during the treatment observed Dr Eulalia D suja,Dr Vidu Llata Koparkar & Dr Ajit waingenkar were approachable, co-operative & clearly explaining the status of the treatment. Karuna Hospital is recognized for its comprehensive services and experienced medical professionals.

Had a great experience. The hospital is clean, well-managed, and everything runs smoothly despite being a large setup. Nurse care was timely and gentle, and internal communication was excellent. Dr. Parul Shah made us feel completely at ease. Her diagnosis was accurate, she explained everything clearly, and performed the procedure with great skill. Recovery and aftercare went very well, and she brings both expertise and a warm, caring nature. Highly recommend Dr. Parul Shah for anything related to gynecology.

Delivered my wife at Karuna hospital in maternity ward first floor under Dr Pratima anjaria. I highly recommend Dr pratima anjaria ma'am. She is very much dedicated to her patient , counselling relatives and proper treatment. She is with full of knowledge, intelligence and hardworking when it comes to her patient. I highly recommend Dr pratima Anjaria if u delivering ur baby at Karuna hospital. Also maternity staff nurses are very good in terms of monitoring patient while delivering. Just wish hospital would be little inexpensive in terms of money and billing.

My 74-year-old mother was admitted in May 2025 for orthopedic surgery. We received excellent service from all departments. Dr. Prabhu Sir and Dr. Laila Madam provided outstanding care -- not only for the orthopedic procedure but also in effectively managing her diabetes and blood pressure. The nursing staff was exceptional, always available 24/7 and ready to assist with compassion and efficiency. Housekeeping also did a commendable job, both in supporting patients and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout our stay. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with all the services provided.

This is regarding pharmacy, they behave like a petty shop, after computer generated bill, they still insist on bill for exchange at the condition of one time mercy exchange of medicines. Their only concern is one time sell of medicine n if doctor changes the medicine , the medicine is henceforth your headache because money grows on trees. Today in the pretext of giving regular concession,he made a fool of me n earned more than 600 rupees of medicine sale,he did not exchange 100+ worth medicine n made me donate it in the donation box.shame on them for making a scape goat out of a patient. I understand their tactics but I pardon them as they being in need of money to be earned by mal practices.I swear not buying a single rupee product hence forth from karuna pharmacy. Feel cheated n disappointingly disgusted. The PRO to my amazement says, pharmacy doubt the authenticity of medicine return as bill is missing n i can collect the medicine from the donation box.( Back to square one n do what with the unwanted medicine?) I will advice the future patients to visit the doctors in other hospitals,as these doctors visit various opds of other hospital, buy medicine from noble chemist in the vicinity. If you visit them in karuna opds they will say doctor's call time is 9 but he will not be there before atleast 10.30 minimum n they will give you 10th or 12 th numbers which will take more 1.30 hrs minimum. I found that karuna hospital does not care about the time of patients they invest and in addition to money, inconvenience faced regularly. So much waiting is pure unprofessionalism in the part of doctors n the hospital management. The PRO only cares to brush off the blame n best put it back on the patients. I guess it's time to visit other hospitals like thunga, max,etc karuna has too much patronage.

I am taking treatment under Dr Jayesh Soni Gastrologist, he is good hospital environment is good and good hygiene is maintain. All facilities is good you receive all treatment under one roof. Hospital trust community centre doing good job very supportive.

The staff at Karuna are very helpful and understand the patient's and their family's distress. I went there to see Dr Jayesh Soni (DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ANY COST. HE HAS ANGER ISSUES. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL) After waiting for 2 hours for the doctor when it was our turn for consultation, the doctor walked away saying there's female nurse so I cant examine the patient. He requested for a female nurse but nobody was available since he came late and it was way past his consultation hours. The staff immediately stepped in and called up another Gastro for our help. I wonder how they put up with such doctors.

At Karuna Hospital you not only excellent medical care but also heartfelt prayers from Nun Sisters. In 2021 my son was operated here. A very good hospital with excellent staff and doctors. Neurologist Dr Manoj Hunnur is best.
