A Disturbing Experience: Prioritizing Profit Over Patients My family's experience with this doctor was incredibly disappointing and concerning. For several months, my father consulted him for a heart condition. However, it quickly became apparent that the doctor's primary focus was on monetary gain, with a clear mindset of charging premium fees for all treatments. The situation escalated when my father had an angiography performed at a different hospital. Despite having a recent procedure, this doctor insisted on a repeat angiography specifically at his affiliated hospital. He went as far as denying further treatment until we complied with his demand. This refusal to treat based on where a diagnostic procedure was performed, rather than on medical necessity, raises serious questions about his ethical practices. It's truly alarming to encounter a medical professional who seems to place financial incentives above patient care. I sincerely hope other patients are spared such an experience.

Such doctors should be banned who only work for money and kill innocent people and then call it a 'MISTAKE'. We lost our smiling face of Mrs. Nanda Rone who went through Angioplasty on 30th Aug 2023. Dr. Vivek Mahajan was operating her and he tore the wrong vein which resulted in internal bleeding and we lost our beloved person. After the operation doctor put her on ventilator and suggested the family ECMO machine which costs in lakhs. Rent of the machine was 1 lac per day. Even though it was his mistake, he and hospital were trying to take advantage of the critical situation just to make money. If you don't want to loose your loved ones then don't ever take any treatment from this doctor and the Fortis hospital Kalyan.

My aunt has been admitted to fortis hospital (kalyan) for angioplasty. She had one blockage in her heart, that too 90 percent.On 30th August 2023 she had gone for angioplasty. Before my aunt's operation one lady was gone for same operation she came in 45 minutes but they took 4 hrs for my aunt's angioplasty. When they was doing angioplasty they tore the wrong vein which resulted in internal bleeding and heart beat stop for 10 sec that day Dr said also they said that we pumped her heart and we started her heart. Next day they said her heart was stopped for 15 minutes and again next day they said that her heart was stopped for half an hour. So Dr also accepted that he did the mistake. Then they put her on ventilator for two days. That night at 2 am they called us and said that your patient is not giving response. Her situation is very critical and then they suggested us to put ecmo machine and that to the gave no guarantee of patient. Charges of this ecmo machine was 8 lakhs for 48 hrs and if patient is not responding for between 48 hrs then per day rent is 1 lakh. Also they said that this money is not claimed via mediclaim so you have to pay cash. Hence we took decision that dont go with ecmo machine and put my aunt on ventilator. Thursday they said patient is still in critical condition and Friday morning 1 September 2023 they declared that your patient is no more. Our patient's heart beat was stopped for half an hour on Wednesday then why did they put her on ventilator for 2 days? We suggest that don't go with this Dr for treatment he only wants money.
