Today, I went to Shivam Hospital for the first time for my father's orthopedic operation. I have ESIC, through which all expenses for my father's operation and medicines are supposed to be covered. However, Dr. Murli informed me that I would have to pay 18,000 for removing the plate from my father's leg, and that this cost would not be covered under ESIC. When I requested a bill for this amount, he refused, stating that no bill would be provided for the 18,000. I told him that this was wrong and asked how such a payment could be made without a bill. Dr. Murli then said that the operation would not be performed there and advised me to take my father to another hospital. I would like to state that when the treatment can be claimed through ESIC, why is extra payment being demanded? And if extra payment is indeed required, then a proper bill should be provided for it.

I was admitted at shivam Hospital for about 3 days. Right from admission formalities, the rooms and the overall facilities, I was cared for. The doctors, especially Dr. Anilkumar barnwal and Dr. Sanmit were excellent. They were very calm, patiently answered my trivial questions without hesitation and made it a point to explain every course of treatment that I was undergoing."

Hello, my overall experience at the Shivam Hospital was great. The doctors and staff are very helpful and cooperative.

Worst hospital staff behaviour, heavily understaffed with the level of patients they handle on regular basis. OPD hours is absent here as they don't take appointments and ask patients to wait for hours saying doctor is not available. Took 10 hours for discharge since the doctor recommended for discharge, although medical facility is superior. They support government CGHS facility too and very accessible from dombivali East local station and Kalyan-silphata road
