Dr. Dahanu Road

Dahanu Road Station is super clean and peaceful. Less crowded and well-maintained. Only drawback is limited train timings, but overall a great station! From here, we visited the Mahalakshmi Mandir -- a lovely spiritual spot that's worth checking out. If you're planning a visit, make sure to check the train timetable in advance, as trains are available only at selected times.

It is a station which is quite big in that area. Local trains to Mumbai starts and ends here, even fast trains have halt here depending upon the destination. The station is kind of well maintained and one can get food stuff and mineral water almost on every platform. No worries if your luggage is too much as it has a sloppy bridge and even other bridge with staircase. Tickets are generally checked on platform one on random basis. There is a beautiful beach near to station and every basic thing is mostly available outside the station. It has a almost good crowd on station anytime you arrive.

Dahanu Road is a railway station near the town of Dahanu in Palghar district of Maharashtra. It lies on the Western line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is the northern limit of the Suburban network, although the track continues north to Gholvad and beyond.

Dahanu Road is the last railway station on Western Lines running in Mumbai. Trains to Dahanu Road are available from Churchgate,Dadar, Andheri, Borivali,Vasai Road and Virar. It is a huge station,with clean platforms. Public Transports in the form of auto rickshaws are available just outside the station. There is huge market as well outside the station on some 100meters walking distance.

Its the last terminal station for Mumbai Local trains, well connected public transport system. Many private and govt. officials travel from Dahanu Road to Mumbai city daily.

Dahanu Road, the first suburban station on Western Railway towards Churchgate, boasts excellent passenger amenities including a spacious FOB, ample parking, and efficient ticket windows. A commendable addition to the suburban network. Only improvement required is passengers crossing railway tracks there should be one underpass subway so that can be avoided or passengers awareness required
