Dr. Thrissur Medical College

One of the largest campuses in Kerala. Pleasing and inspiring. They've introduced many new departments including a tmc sports complex. Every department is very unique and has a separate building. We'd have to walk some distance from college to the hostel or rather use a vehicle to save time. They have 2-3 canteens inside the campus. The casualty is just opposite to the bus stop and is very busy and is a bit far from the auditorium. Overall it is indeed a great place for every medical student.

Very busy. No chargers for op tickets. Ent, eye, heart all treatment in Casulity. Car parking available. Waiting seats are less in Casulity.the doctors are good and friendly towards the patients. Must wear masks. Indian coffee house is there inside the medical college compound. Coffee shops are not there. Toilets are maintained well. If introducing some more seats and one or two small coffee points it will be good.

One of the highly rated government run medical college of State of Kerala. Campus is filled with infrastructure as per the requirement and a multi speciality hospital. Advanced Doctors and nurses adds extra point. Special heart hospital is very popular. Easy and fast consultation. Free lunch is always helpful for the patients.

Good treatment there is good behavior ENT department I have got everything good clarity everything is checked and evaluated and same treatment is there in thrissur medical college good treatment

What's going on with the pulmonology department? I took my mother there today, and the experience was far from satisfactory. First, why was the department for lung patients moved from the ground floor to the first floor? This creates unnecessary inconvenience, especially for patients with breathing issues. Second, our token number was 45 in Room A, and we only got to see the doctor after 2 PM. Initially, there was just one doctor, taking about 15 minutes per patient. After lunch, another doctor joined, but when it was finally our turn, they spent 8-10 minutes in the room, of which only about 2 minutes were spent talking to my mother. The rest of the time, the two doctors seemed more engaged in a conversation with each other than addressing the patient's concerns. This lack of efficiency and empathy was very disappointing.

It's a beautiful and huge campus in Thrissur dist, very close to Thangaloor. This Medical College has so many departments and doctors over here are outstanding ! Even people who were afflicted with Cancer were treated here and doing extremely well nowadays as I know personally. Like in private hospitals, things may not be that fast but the job gets done ultimately.

Those who going by Bus : Buses available all the daytime from Vadakke Stand , Thrissur and directly reach upto the gate of Medical College By private vehicles ; From thirssur take Thrissur- Shornur road and turn left @Athani via overbridge and directly to Medical College Food , Lodging facilities available nearby at affordable rates... Free serving of food by voluntary organisations also ... Request all to ensure individual cleanliness and cooperation in maintaining a healthy environment there as we the public are owners and stakeholders of these facilities..
