We had a great experience with my brother's treatment last month. The doctors were skilled and caring. Special thanks to Mr. Sarath Chandran for his excellent guidance and support throughout the process.

Complaint Regarding Lack of Transparency in Paid vs Free Vaccination Options I am writing to formally register my dissatisfaction regarding the lack of transparency in communicating vaccination options for children at your hospital. My daughter was born at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, and her first vaccination was given here. During our recent visit for a routine check-up, the doctor advised the second round of vaccinations and prescribed Easy Six (Pentavalent + IPV), which is a paid vaccine. However, I later found out that Pentavalent and IPV vaccines are provided free of cost by the Government of India and are also available at your own hospital, as mentioned in your vaccine availability list (copy attached). At no point during the consultation was I informed about the free vaccine option. As a parent, I believe it is my right to be clearly informed about both free and paid alternatives before making a choice. This omission leads to patients unknowingly opting for expensive paid vaccines when equally effective free vaccines are available. Additionally, our local ASHA worker informed us that taking vaccination from a private facility may affect eligibility for free government vaccinations later, which is important information for parents to know in advance. My requests are as follows: 1. Ensure that doctors and vaccination staff clearly inform all patients about both free and paid vaccination options before administering vaccines. 2. Display a clear notice in the pediatric and vaccination departments listing all free vaccines available under the government program. 3. Provide written consent forms where parents acknowledge that they have been informed about the availability of free vaccines before choosing a paid option. I am sharing this feedback with the hope that your hospital will take corrective action to ensure transparency and maintain the trust of patients. Kindly acknowledge this complaint and inform me of the action taken. Attachments: 1. Photo of your hospital's vaccine availability list.

I had really great experience from the institute. Specifically the Doctors, the PR personnel and staffs from other departments. I have minor reservation regarding the nurses and the food. For international patients the food should be either international or allowed to cook by themselves. The food is very traditional. I recommend the institutefor others 100%. Miss you guys!

The importance of mental and physical wellness is equal. You experience goosebumps as soon as you step into this facility. Speaking with the personnel here is a huge mental stress reliever. As a hospital affiliated with a medical school, excellent treatment is guaranteed. Here, every super-specialized category is applicable. Its specific discipline is obvious here because it is a medical college. Doctors and staff members exhibit excellent behaviour. There is enough space for cars to park here. Ten rupees must be spent in order to use it. They offer parking spaces near the playground for when the parking lot is full. There are plenty of coffee shops and a canteen selling wholesome cuisine. The section here that deals with cancer therapy has made a priceless contribution to Kerala's healthcare system. All settings are compatible with this area. Doctors' behaviour can have a significant impact on patients. The fact that it operates quite eco-friendly is what most impressed me. The future of healthy living depends on the joint wellbeing of people, animals, and the environment. Here, a few birds and animals are sparsely and impeccably preserved. May you be able to achieve the One Health concept that the World Health Organization has envisioned. All the best and thank you for your services.

Hospital as a whole is good with good facilities but the telecommunication section is the worst... as the call is always busy and unresponded most of the time and has to spend more than 15 minutes to get the call connected even in an emergency condition.. also the same when trying to contact to get to know whether the test reports are ready.. rest of all is good especially the nursing staffs during night shift in the oncology ward are good
