Dr. Baby Memorial Hospital, Payyanur

I had a good experience at Baby Hospital in Payyannur. The hospital is new, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, a reliable place for care and treatment. Recommended!

Token system is quite poorly managed. I don't even understand why they keep the token system if they don't intend to follow it. Absolutely no respect for anyone's time. While the availability of specialist doctors have increased since BMH took over, it doesn't seem like they have taken sufficient measures to put the right amount staff and process to manage the inflow of patients. I am writing this review as I sit in the waiting area. I came at the allocated time and yet, I was informed that there were six patients before me. I patiently sat watching 5 patients walk in and when i checked with the staff again, they told me there are 5 more patients before me. I don't understand this math, seems like magic. When i questioned this, the staff showed no empathy and said they don't make the process, they just follow what they have been instructed. It has been an hour and a half and I am still waiting here with my ailing mother.

Its just a name. The hospital is being run by very few staffs and doctors. There are parts of floors which are unoccupied and unhygienic. There is a medical camp today(10/08/25) where the camp started at 10 am and was supposed to close at 2. When we went there by 11.30 and took an OP ticket our number was 100plus. When i entered the hall which was filled with people, many were senior citizens and ladies there were hospital management staffs arguing with people about the rush and waiting time. So apparently there is only one doctor for the entire day for the entire people who are going to turn up for the day which is absurd. People were not at all happy with the way this camp was set up with only one doctor just for name sake. People have come from far away places just for this and now they have to leave with disappointment. Baby memorial hospital is just a name.

as baby Memorial taken over everything is getting so far better and service. Everything is better right now. But the only problem is there is the canteen facility. It is too far from the hospital and it's not inside the hospital. That's the first problem and the second thing is limited food items and no room delivery service , please do something about that.

I'm extremely thankful to Dr. Viswan for safely bringing my baby girl into this world. Though he's a man of few words, his actions speak volumes. His calm demeanor and genuine concern for both mother and baby built a sense of trust from day one. A special thank you to the wonderful labour room staff as well -- their support, kindness, and care during delivery meant everything to me. They made the experience smoother, more comforting, and far less overwhelming. Forever grateful for the safe arrival of my little girl and for the incredible team that made it possible

A spacious and well maintained place. But the main draw back is that the waiting time for get the procedures , esp:scanning, is too long that I have to wait almost four hours to to get process complete. After all spending almost five hours for a out patient to get a consultation is rather boring not at all advisable

We feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Nikhitha Venu as our doctor for the delivery of our baby. She made the entire journey reassuring and stress-free. Her kind nature, expertise, and constant encouragement meant a lot to us. Thank you, doctor, for helping bring our little one into the world safely and for being such a strong support throughout.

Very bad experience.. Inefficient staff..Irresponsible behaviour..The fee to see a doctor is very high..quality is nothing.. A request to everyone: Don't go to this hospital, go near other hospital..
