Dr. Unity Hospital

I had a very disappointing experience with the service here. The staff appeared unapproachable and their communication completely lacked empathy. The services provided were far from patient-friendly, and there seemed to be no sense of urgency or concern for the patients' conditions. Despite waiting for over 1.5 hours, not even the basic services were provided. The waiting time was excessive, which only added to the overall frustration. To make matters worse, the staff seemed poorly trained -- they did not even know how to measure blood pressure properly. This raised serious concerns about the quality and safety of care being provided. Given this unacceptable experience, we requested a refund of the amount paid and choose to go to another hospital where proper medical attention was available. Such a lack of professionalism and disregard for patient care is completely unacceptable, and I hope serious improvements are made to prevent others from facing similar issues.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Unity Hospital - A Wonderful Experience! I delivered my baby two months ago at Unity Hospital, and I'm so grateful I chose this place for my delivery. Though we live in Bengaluru, I decided to come to Kerala, my husband's native place, for the delivery -- and it turned out to be the best decision! I had a normal vaginal delivery, and the entire experience was extremely positive. Dr. Bindu Balan was the main reason I felt confident and well cared for. She is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. Her approach made a huge difference in helping me stay calm and strong during labor. I'll always be thankful for her. I also want to appreciate Sister Nisha, who stood by me during the most painful moments. She was like a guardian angel -- supportive, caring, and so attentive. I don't think I could've managed without her. A special thanks to Dr. Livin Sakriya, the physician who also played a vital role in my care. His support and guidance made me feel safe and assured. Before Unity Hospital, I was admitted to another nearby hospital, but unfortunately, the experience there was terrible. That made me anxious. But after coming to Unity, everything changed -- the staff, the doctors, the environment -- everything felt right and reassuring. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Unity Hospital, Dr. Binduwala, Sister Nisha, and Dr. Livin for giving me such a positive and memorable experience during one of the most important moments of my life. Highly recommend this hospital to any expectant mothers looking for compassionate care and skilled professionals.

Experienced doctors Friendly staff

We had visited the cardiology department for a patient with high blood pressure. We had booked a day before. The average waiting time varies as there is only one cardiologist available. Sometimes you can be seen within an hour. The doctor was a nice down to earth human who showed genuine concern unlike many docs who were talking in an attractive fake way. He could easily clear out doubts. The charges for echo and ecg are reasonable when compared with most corporate setups. Staff are okay. There is an Indian coffee hous to have food. Parking facilities are excellent. Except for the waiting time it was okay. There was another incident in the lab. Blood extraction done by a nurse failed and the lab tech was shouting at the nurse. These kind of quarrels should be avoided in front of patients. Staff complaints should be done at superior's or admins office.

I would have given zero stars but there is no option for that situation. This used to be a good Hospital now it's barely functioning properly. The reception counter is hopeless. They are not aware of the rules and regulations. They are not even able to provide guidance. Doctors are even worse. They are more concerned about accreditation protocols rather than patient care. Will never ever be going back to this hospital. If you have a chance to go to a different hospital, I would strongly suggest that.
