Dr. Dharmagiri Hospital Kothamangalam

This is the hospital my grandmother always goes to for care, and they never fail. She was recently admitted for fever and cough, and as always, the doctors and nurses took great care of her. She started improving within a couple of days. We trust Dharmagiri Hospital and are very thankful for their consistent care.

Last week, my father was admitted to Dharmagiri Hospital and was under observation in the ICU for one day, followed by five days of care in the N Ward. We are very grateful for the excellent service provided during his stay. The staff were attentive, kind, and professional. They took proper care of him and ensured he was comfortable throughout. We truly appreciate their dedicated service and thank the hospital team for their support.

I had a very nice experience at the Dental department of the hospital. The doctors were extremely professional, kind, and attentive throughout the treatment process. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the care provided was top-notch. Special thanks to the Hospital PRO for his guidance and support.

Recently I had a very bad experience at Dharmagiri hospital Emergency section. On 21st Jan 2025 I visited the hospital at 4 am with my 3 year old child with an allergic reaction.We rushed to hospital in panic and received a very cold response from Emergency front desk nurses.All 4 of them at the counter were sleeping and were very reluctant to attend us, though the security and nurses inside the Emergency consult room were helpful and accommodating.Also the duty doctor was not available at that time and it took almost 10 mnts for the doctor to come and check my child.He was half asleep and prescribed medicines without even checking my daughter's condition.If the response is like this in Emergency section , then what will be the condition of critically ill person!!

Good hospital, with specialty classifications. Hygenic area and premise.

Parking is very tense, staffs are pretty good.. But sometimes they are not active.. Good atmosphere

Here most doctors are good. OP is good. In my experience, Dr. Robin (Onco Surgeon), Dr. Manoj (Cardiac) and Dr. Varghese (Physician) Dr. Mobin (Pediatrician) are well experienced and they are doing great job. On the other side, night time several time I visited this hospital at emergency with several critical patients, except few I am not at all satisfied with casualty treatment. Also B ward, its totally disappointing. Since there is no other option in Kothamangalam just going here. I came several time with mother for periodic injection. Nursing staffs are mostly non cooperative with patients and bystanders. Even though Dr. Robin is very caring and helpful, the nurses are like military officers. Few nurses are not at all fit for their profession. Compared to the other main hospital in Kothamangalam this is bit best thats all. In Kothamangalam, patients don't have much option to choose a good hospital for IP treatment.

Don't have enough parking space, and no proper vehicle movement management. Please do ask for detailed bills and inspect it thoroughly before payment. Had trouble with the hospital charges and bills recently.
