Dr. Sangeeth Hospital

While my experience with the doctors was satisfactory, the post-delivery care at this hospital was deeply disappointing and distressing. Despite claiming to be a WHO-UNICEF "Mother and Baby Friendly" hospital, they completely failed to follow their own guidelines, even one of the most basic principles: breastfeeding within one hour of birth. After my C-section, I was fully conscious and willing to breastfeed, but my baby was kept away for over 18 hours and fed formula without my consent. My family was misinformed that I was unconscious, and when they insisted, the nurse briefly showed me the baby but lied that latching happened--which they never did. The emotional pain of knowing my baby's first feed wasn't my milk but formula is something I will carry forever. Worse, the colostrum--the most vital first immunity for the baby--was discarded by an untrained nurse and due to sheer ingnorance who shockingly called it "bad milk" due to its yellow color. Adding to my distressing experience, during the doctor's rounds, the pediatrician was asking about my baby while the attending nurse was answering by referring to a completely different baby's file. My husband noticed it and immediately pointed it out--only then did the nurse close the file and begin searching for the correct one. Such negligence is unacceptable, especially in a hospital setting dealing with newborns. This level of carelessness puts babies at risk and shows a serious lack of professionalism. It's deeply concerning and must be addressed without delay. This is not just my experience--several mothers shared similar regrets. If this malpractice happens with the consent of the administration, it's shameful. If not, it's a sign of gross negligence. I strongly urge the hospital to address these issues regarding postnatal care and nursing practices immediately. What I lost cannot be undone, but no other mother or baby should suffer the same. I hope this review brings attention to prevent such negligence from repeating.

Such a terrible hospital seen in my entire life . Better to suffer than to visit this hospital. Harsh behaviour, pure negligence to patients. Kindly rethink visiting this hospital. Very bad hospitality. Not having a proper way or system. There is token number on the prescription sheet which is of no use. RMO of this hospital is a very arrogant. Very pathetic approach from the hospital management.

Several disappointing experiences later I have stopped going here and wouldn't suggest this place to anybody. Had a terrible throat infection and fever. Consulted the on duty doctor, and she suggested a course of antibiotics. Infection didn't subside, and went again. A different doctor suggested a higher dose of different antibiotics. This happened one more time before I finally went to another doctor, who told me I had a viral infection, on which antibiotics are ineffective. By then I had wasted close to 2 months, suffering all the while, not to mention the unnecessary high doses of antibiotic they had me take. The different hospital I went to made it get better in 3 days. So this hospital basically has several doctors who didn't have the basic knowledge to understand that this was a viral infection. Something a different hospital found out immediately.

Hi, my second delivery was on January 31st at Sangeeth hospital. Great service.. I am extremely pleased with the gynaecology and paediatrics department. The atmosphere and service provided by the staff are also appreciated. A big heartfelt thank you to Dr. Divya mam, Dr. Geetha mam and Raji sister who was with me in the delivery. Special thanks to Dr. Aswin sir and Dr. Saumya mam, paediatric doctors are supportive and provide excellent service... Neat and calm hospital.. I would happily recommend Sangeeth hospital to Others...

On Tuesday dated 8.7.2025 we had a very horrible experience with PRO of Sangeeth hospital named dhilshna . Behaviour was very unprofessional and cultural less using abusing language. We have been visiting sangeeth hospital for past years and always had very good experience and treatment.i kindly request management to educate your staffs on professional behaviour towards patients.

Found out last friday from the website that the dermatologist is available only on Wednesdays from 1130 to 1230, so waited till Wednesday today reached there at 1055. The reception informs that the doctor came at 0900 and has already left and that I have to wait for another week until next Wednesday. Either update your timings on your own website or shutdown your website, but do not play with people' time. Time is very precious and time is money, some people have to take a half days leave in order to reach for this appointment only to realise the hospital does not respect people's timings. Bad experience.
