The doctors are good, well understanding and friendly in nature especially the gynecology department but the pharmacy here is very poor they are not following token system and also are not giving attention to emergency cases also couldn't understand on what basis they are working. Have visited many hospitals having facilities more than this and less than this as well, but the worst pharmacy is here. But here the doctors prescribe medicines mostly available in this hospital only that's why patients are going to this pharmacy. The pharmacy is very slow even if there is only 2 or 3 prescription also they are taking around 30mins. Pharmacy is a black mark to the hospital.

l had an exceptional experience with Dr. Neeraja Nambiar and I am truly grateful for the care and attention I received.I am so comfortable with the hospital and happy with their services. Other facilities like nursing staffs, cleaning staffs are also well. Delayed waiting in hospital pharmacy and lift facility can negatively impact patient satisfaction.

We had a wonderful experience with my wife's C-section. The doctor was extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and experienced. The nurses on the 4th floor, both day and night shifts, were amazing--kind, caring, and truly had golden hearts. Their support made a big difference, and we highly recommend this hospital to expecting mothers. However, our experience in the labor room was disappointing. The nurses there were rude, unsupportive, and lacked the care we expected during such a crucial moment. This was the only downside to our otherwise positive experience, and we hope the hospital addresses this issue for future patients. Giving 2 star only because of this. Otherwise, it is a 10/10 experience.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care provided during my wife's recent delivery at your hospital. The medical team, especially Dr. Raghavendra Prasad, demonstrated outstanding professionalism and compassion. Additionally, the support from the billing and insurance departments was efficient and commendable. However, I am compelled to bring to your attention a significant concern regarding the birth certificate documentation and upload process, which was handled in a highly unprofessional manner. Despite clearly communicating the urgency of uploading the birth certificate details--critical for initiating our newborn's passport process--the information had not been uploaded to the Panchayat portal even after four days. After following up multiple times, I was informed by the concerned staff, quite casually, that they had "forgotten" to upload the documents and would do so the following day. Subsequently, after repeated reminders, the documents were uploaded and I was provided with a reference number. Unfortunately, when I personally visited the Panchayat office to request expedited approval, I was informed that the reference number provided was incorrect. Upon contacting the hospital's birth certificate section, this was confirmed without any sense of accountability. @ Hospital Management Team - Please note that I have documented evidence of these interactions via WhatsApp chats, which I can share upon request. While I remain truly grateful for the outstanding medical care received, it is concerning that such administrative negligence can potentially undermine the reputation of your institution. I trust that appropriate action will be taken to address this issue and to strengthen the accountability of non-medical departments, particularly those handling sensitive documentation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Doctors and Nursing staff and facility : 5 star Administration ( Birth certificate Section) - Zero and pathetic service

The clinic needs to improve the accuracy of the appointment timings communicated to patients. For instance, they may ask patients to arrive at 12:30, but the actual wait time often extends to three hours. Additionally, patients are not allowed to leave for lunch as they will say the doctor will see them shortly.

While the experience with the doctors were good, there are other areas which are hugely concerning! 1. Pharamcy : probably one of the worst managed pharmacy ever seen. Even a crowded one elsewhere will dispense medicine in the 15 to 20 mins. Here I have expernced many times that the time taken is too much. The latest being for a wait for 25 mins when there was hardly three waiting. This is seen very often, that when there are 5 to 6 pharmacist available, only one will dispense and the remaning would sit idle at the corner talking. Also, doesn't follow first come first serve policy. This department need huge improvement. 2. Appointment: the appointment system is another concern. Our experience was at Udayam, When you book, you are not given a specific time or token. They say something like come around 9.30 to 10.00...or 11.30 to 12.00...Even when we reach there in time, we had to wait for 2 to 3 hrs in most of these cases. There is no way to know how long you have to wait. In one case, we were asked to come at 11.30...and we were told we have to wait for at least 1.5 hrs, but could see the doctor only at 5.00 pm; ended up in skipping Lunch since we don't know when the dcotor would call us.At least a token system would allow us to know how long the wait would be.

Subject: Feedback Regarding Unprofessional Conduct During Consultation Dear Hospital Administration, I am writing to share my recent experience during a visit to your facility. I had an appointment on 21st July for a swelling and persistent pain in my hand. During the consultation, I explained my symptoms to the attending doctor Mr Roshith PV, who advised me to take prescribed medication for a few days and to return if the pain persisted. As the pain did not subside, although the swelling had slightly reduced, I revisited the doctor on 24th July. During this follow-up, I requested a medical certificate, as I had taken a couple of days' leave from work due to the discomfort. To my surprise, the doctor's response was both dismissive and unprofessional. He remarked that he did not know the cause of the issue and therefore could not issue a medical certificate. Additionally, he questioned why I had taken leave for what he considered a "minor pain." I believe such comments are inappropriate, especially coming from a medical professional. Pain is a subjective experience that can vary greatly between individuals, and its impact on a person's ability to perform their job should not be underestimated. As a bank employee, my role involves responsibilities that I could not carry out effectively while in pain. I found the doctor's attitude to be lacking in empathy and professionalism. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I am concerned that such interactions can affect the reputation and trustworthiness of your esteemed hospital. I hope appropriate steps will be taken to address this matter and to ensure patients receive the respect and understanding they deserve during their time of need. I am happy to provide more details to you if required. Sincerely, Sreevidya Puthiyillam

Extremely disappointed with the experience at Sunrise Hospital today, especially with Dr. Nithin Kodoth. My 72-year-old father had a confirmed appointment with Dr. Nithin Kodoth at 6:00 PM. He traveled over 25 kilometers to reach the hospital 20 minutes late due to the traffic. However, when he arrived, the doctor had already gone to the car park and refused to return, even after the receptionist informed him that the patient had arrived. He was the first patient of the evening, and Dr. Kodoth's duty officially began at 6:00 PM. Shockingly, the doctor left the hospital around 6:30 PM without seeing him or offering any explanation. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable, especially in a hospital that claims to be one of the most reputed in Kanhangad. Elderly patients deserve respect, empathy, and basic medical responsibility--none of which were shown here. I hope the hospital administration takes this complaint seriously and ensures that such incidents are not repeated with any patient in the future
