I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. I was admitted for just 12 hours, without any major treatment or procedures, and was shocked to receive a bill of around 10,000. The charges are extremely high- even higher than top-rated hospitals in Mangalore which offer far better facilities and care. Apart from the very high pricing, the overall service was below average. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone, not even in emergency situations. You'll end up paying far more than what it's worth, and the quality of care won't justify the cost. Save your time, money, and health.Consider other reputed hospitals in the area.

I had one of the worst experiences at Sanjeevani Hospital, when I went for a health check-up. What they advertise in their brochure is completely misleading--they skipped multiple tests and services that were supposed to be included. Missing Tests: The package mentioned tests like HBsAg and HIV, but they simply didn't do them. When I asked, they casually said they had "removed them from the package," even though they're still listed in the brochure. Diet Counseling? Never Happened. They advertised diet counseling as part of the package, but when I asked, they just said, "That service isn't available right now." Breakfast Included? Not Really. The package said breakfast was included, but when I asked about it, they told me, "It's just mentioned there, but we don't actually provide it." Seriously? Clueless & Untrained Staff: The front office had no idea about anything and just kept saying, "We're new, we don't know." How can a hospital run like this? Rude Administration: When I took my concerns to the administration, I was shocked at how they behaved. One staff member pointed his finger at me and even said, "I don't fing care."* Absolutely unacceptable! This place is just out to fool patients and take their money. The service is pathetic, the staff has no idea what's going on, and the way they treat people is just disgusting. Avoid this hospital if you value your time, money, and basic respect!

I have been visiting this multispecialty hospital from the time it opened 14 years ago. It isn't the best place out there, but no doubt it is among the best you can find around this side of the Malabar region of Kerala. They specialise in Ophthalmology, ENT, Cardiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Nephrology, Paediatrics, Emergency Trauma Care, Radiology, MRI, CT scan, Ultrasound and the list goes on and on. The main department however seems to be Orthopaedics though, headed by Dr Nambiar. Having been an active athlete competing at the national level for many years, I have had multiple injuries over the years. On my visit to the orthopaedic department, Dr Nambiar & Dr Ajay Paul have always provided prompt diagnosis and the best course of treatment for a speedy recovery. Trust me, when you are a professional athlete, RECOVERY TIME is very crucial!! With all the physical stress and strain my body has been put through on the racing track, I am sure it is only a matter of time before I have problems with my knee and other joints. If I ever have to get a knee replacement or physiotherapy done, this would be where I would go. I have heard some fabulous success stories from other athletes who visit Dr Nambiar. They have a really good operation theatre, where I have been operated on for various surgeries over the last couple of decades; mainly for sports injuries. I am quite certain each of the surgeries was in different operation theatres, as I do recall going through different doors. But inside, they all look the same to me and even before I realise it, I am fast switched off on the theatre table. I believe they have 4 major theatres and 2 minor theatres. But most importantly, the doctors and nurses are very experienced and professional. They really give you the confidence to go into a theatre trusting you are in safe hands. During my last visit, I was sitting by a stranger waiting to see my orthopaedic doctor, and I was taken aback when I heard he had travelled 6 hours to see this doctor. Coming to think of it, I suppose distance and time aren't something someone would consider when it comes to getting the best medical service available. I wish this hospital, the Orthopaedic department, ENT and Ophthalmology departments the very best as they have always looked after me very well over the years. I would highly recommend this place. You may find some parts of the hospital not maintained too well, but trust me I have seen worse in other places. Let's put it this way, I'd rather have my life with a trustworthy doctor and team, than get checked into a fancy-looking hospital.

Horrible place. You better goto the Govt hospital which is 2km away from here where you will get better treatment. Feel sorry for the poor people who are forced to go here. Please note , if you need a proper heart checkup or any such thing, just goto Mangalore (Father mullers is reccomended over others as it's budget friendly), you will get excellent diagnosis and treatment and believe me the total cost will be less than this 'slaughter house' with high class care.

Pathetically maintained hospital. Look at the room and the condition of bed, chair, walls and toilet. Yuckkk!!!! This is what they are giving it for the patients in a private hospital. Kerala government hospitals are giving much better facilities for free of cost.

One of the good hospitals in Kanhangad. Ice got good treatment for ortho and opthalmo related problems.

Sanjeevani hospital is famous for its Cardiac department. One of the rumer about Sanjeevani is it is bit costly. But it does not seems to have that much defference especially when compared to the quality of the provided here. After all it is the only hospital nearby to have this much facility for Cardiac treatment. They have a good opthalmology department also.
