Dr. Puttur City Hospital

For sake they provide appointment but no use i had appointment at 12 pm but got my token at 5 pm. Worst service provided by reception and other people. You should spend whole day for even normal health check up. Every department takes theirs own time. They don't have any respect or value for others time and patience.

Extremely disappointed and heartbroken with the care received during delivery from city hospital puttur. Despite knowing the risks and complications, including the umbilical cord around the baby's neck, the medical team opted for a normal delivery, which caused my baby to suffer brain damage due to lack of oxygen and suffered major brain damage and that caused the baby to go for coma. The previous day's scan showed the umbilical cord's position around neck and fetal movement was normal, but it seems like it wasn't taken seriously enough. Losing my baby due to preventable brain damage is shocking. If they went for the c- section when needed my baby would have been healthy and alive. Very poor experience and outcome. Even the hospital nurses will be sleeping without any concern about patients and if we ask them for support in an emergency they will be angry at us... Then whats the point of admitting here if we are not getting any medical support... This needs to be questioned by everyone... I request every one to raise a voice against this kind of medical negligence. Need to ban this kind of hospitals and avoid going to this hospital.

I am unhappy this hospital treatement. Especially of dr. Bhaskar. He is not responding to seniors. Yesterday on 24/07/2025 i visited this hospital for neck pain by obtained appoitment. For the same i had taken treatement by dr. Anupama and they suggested me to meet dr. Bhaskar. I wait since 11-30 am to 2-40pm in the hospital dr. Bhaskar d't came to seat, but he was in the hospital. I asked staff why doctor is not came to seat but answer is we donot know. I am a senior cityzen without food i wait for 3 hours doctor did not respond. Till this incidence i had good opinion on this hospital, because my family members are taking treatement here. But today onwards i have negitive opinion on this hospital. Negitive opinion on dr. Bhaskar only.

We lost our sister's baby during delivery due to the negligence and experimental approach of the doctors at *Puttur City Hospital. This tragic loss has deeply affected our family, and we don't want anyone else to suffer the same pain. Please be cautious We strongly advise expecting mothers not to consult Puttur City Hospital for delivery or maternity care. We are sharing this message with a heavy heart in the hope that it may help others stay safe.

Firstly I hate to put this because there's no other option to continue with my review... I visited City Hospital on 26th June this year for a cut on my wife's hand that required stitches. Dr.Bhaskar S stitched her hand and asked to see him after two days. There were six stitches and when we visited him after two days he said that everything was fine and asked to visit after a week. He removed the stitches and sent us back.The next day her hand became swollen and puz started coming out.Despite the doctor's assurance that it would get better her condition worsened even after twenty days. Worried we went to KMC hospital in Mangalore, where it was discovered that two stitches were still intact in her wound, leading to a severe infection. The dressing and sample collection for checking the severity of the infection was done and the treatment started all over again. I'm extremely disappointed with the utter negligence by the doctors there. The retained stitches and subsequent infection could have been avoided with proper medical attention and a little humanity. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone .

Blood test receptionist service staff are rude behavior. Management should change service staff, or giving them job responsibilities and caring manners. So many reviews are against them. Please review your staff

Extremely Disappointed with Puttur City Hospital's Management and Service I am deeply disappointed with the management of Puttur City Hospital and the irresponsibility of its doctors and staff, particularly Dr. Gopinath Pai, Surgeon. Our experience was extremely distressing and unacceptable. The doctor committed to performing a gallbladder surgery at 8 PM, so the patient arrived at 9 AM, fasting as per instructions. We even booked a luxury stay for preparation. However, despite the operation being scheduled for the night, the preparation began only at 7 PM, and the patient was taken into the operation theater at 7 PM. Shockingly, the patient was left on a metal stretcher until 11 PM, without a proper bed, drips, or any medical attention, leading to extreme fatigue and distress. When we inquired about the delay, we were told that the doctor was busy with an emergency case. Later, we found out that the surgery was supposed to be performed by another doctor, but he had not even arrived. No staff provided any updates on his whereabouts. The lack of communication between staff and doctors was frustrating and unprofessional. When we demanded clarity, instead of resolving the issue, the hospital simply told us to discharge the patient. This level of negligence and mismanagement is completely unacceptable in a healthcare facility. I strongly urge Puttur City Hospital's management to take immediate action to improve coordination, communication, and patient care. Such experiences should not happen to any patient seeking treatment.
