Dr. Kamakshi Hospital Mysuru

I always go to this hospital if there is even a slight disturbance in my health because I am active always and as I don't want a break in my daily routines. Here you get all treatments from a common cold to major surgeries. What specializes this hospital is the good treatment at an AFFORDABLE COST. Even a common person can afford. This sets apart this hospital from other hospitals

One of the worst hospitals in Mysore, don't come here for any kind of treatment. Dr Vikram is very good for orthopaedic if you need contact in his clinic. The management is horrible, you can't get proper and immediate response from management. Even Insurance holder also don't try this hospital. Poor service hospital.

Dr. Prakash K. Prabhu has very deep knowledge in urology and provided the right treatment for my father. Though the hospital infrastructure is a bit old, it is well-maintained with sufficient housekeeping, staff, and nurses. The team is punctual and takes good care of patients without needing reminders. Great service overall

My father was regularly getting his master checkup done for the past two years at Kamakshi Hospital. His last master checkup was done on 14/03/2025 where the results showed that his liver/kidney/pancreas were absolutely normal. On 18/05/2025 he passed away from CLD where the doctors at DRM and other surgeons mentioned that the chronic disease should have shown in the master checkup report which clearly isnt the case. One mistake at this hospital has costed my father's life. I called the hospital and spoke to the manager Prasanna Kumar who initially mentioned that my father hadn't done the tests at Kamakshi and upon showing the report he passed me the radiologist Dr.Chethan's number who dint admit that the results were wrong/ diagnosed incorrectly as i had expected and asked me not to call him again. It is a big SCAM and am writing this review so people can be aware of the misdoings and save yours and your loved ones life by not visiting this hospital!

**Feedback on Hospital Experience:** I visited this hospital in Mysore yesterday, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. After doing a CT scan in the morning, I was informed that the doctor was unavailable, and I had to wait for more than six hours until 4 PM for the doctor to review the results. There was no valid reason given for the delay, and the entire process felt disorganized. When the doctor finally arrived, they quickly checked the CT scan and prescribed some medicines. However, the prescribed medicines were not available at the hospital pharmacy, adding to the inconvenience. The lack of coordination and communication was frustrating, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. This hospital seriously needs to improve its management and ensure that essential medical services are available promptly.

Had very bad experience with the hospital and the doctor. I got admitted for my C section delivery under Dr. Swathi Urs. Doctor demanded for extra money, nurses almost all except one who attended me were rude. Got severe infection after my discharge, was admitted in another hospital for having infection, I was not able to feed my baby for more than 15 days. I suffered a lot physically and mentally. Wish no one select this hospital for any kind of admission

With the change of management, the services have become expensive. Recently consulted Dr.Shivakumar & he treated me well. Had several tests done including endoscopy as well as abdominal scanning, chest + neck x-ray. Glad the doctor patiently listened to all my issues in the throat and prescribed the right medicine. There is ample parking space as well and Ayush medical shop within the arena. The staff here are quite courteous. I was born in this hospital so my family is very familiar with all the senior nurses and doctors working here so the way we are treated is also heartwarming.

I'm honest guide, don't Admit In this hospital for anything I suggest you join any gov hospital rather than here. Dr shenoy pediatrician is very angry person and not possible to handle with this person. 80% Nurses are not good and some Nurses are good.. The ayya housekeeping are v v v good they are so helpfull and caring more than doctor or nurses. There is no single point I will say for admiting here.
