Dr. Kasturba Hospital, Manipal

I had my DHS implant and later the removal done by Dr. Hitesh Shah, and I genuinely couldn't have been in better hands. From day one, he and the hospital team made me feel cared for and supported. The journey wasn't easy, but their kindness and professionalism made all the difference. Truly grateful!

Truly the best doctors especially in oncology. My father, [Abdul Khadir Mirza] has stage 4 colorectal cancer, and under the care of Dr. Ananth Pai, we've found not only excellent treatment but also a sense of hope. The way Dr. Pai communicates brings comfort not just to the patient but to the whole family. I personally stay under a lot of stress, but every time we consult with Dr. Pai, I don't know why but I feel a deep sense of peace. The oncology surgeon Dr. Preeti S. Shetty, Dr. Nawaz Usman, and their entire team are also outstanding. They performed my father's surgery very successfully and have continued to take great care of him afterward. Anyone considering treatment with them doesn't need to think twice they are truly the best.

If u really care about your loved ones do not go to this hospital. This is the worst hospital worst doctors I've have seen. I've lost my cousin sister here she had pneumonia all they said was there is no progress let's wait and see even if her condition continues to deteriorate, doctors don't even try to explain the condition of patients, they don't even refer to other hospital if they can't manage. In the end they didn't even let us talk to her in the final moment of her life. Please don't go to this hospital.

One of the worst hospital. Here they dont care about patients conditions they need only money. For regular check up need to wait here whole day or some time more than that. Patients will be waiting from early morning doctor will have meeting once they report( may be to loot patients ) Before writing this review i have gone through previous posts also nothing changed simply some one is responding to the post for the sake. KARMA will answer every one.

One of the worst hospitals I've ever seen. It feels like the doctors here are more interested in making money than saving lives. If you care about your loved ones, do not admit them here. The treatment is careless and very poor, and there is no sense of urgency or compassion. Once you admit someone, you'll regret it--because they may never come back the same. Absolutely heartbreaking experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

One of the worst hospital I hv ever seen.if for any regular check they wait whole day.here they don't care about patients they need only money.we came here from early morning they take the patient delayed.and one more thing,daily they take 200 of patients how they can concentrate on each and everyone(i donno).very disappointed experience with "KASTURBA HOSPITAL".The department of hand surgery doctor was really good Dr.Ashwath acharya but not the staff.The staff was really treating us like slaves.im k with that but if the poor peoples came here plz don't come.I have experienced today they give us the operation on 6/6/2025 we came here before one day 5/6/2025.we came here on dt day they told us like u didn't pick d etc swear on anjaneya they didn't even call to me,after they give us date on 7/6/2025 operation date. NOTE: I had a terribly distressing experience at the hospital. 1.The patients registration per day to have a limit as they are accepting more than 200 patient per day for OPD 2. Doctor does not interact more with the patient who come to see him as doctor have many patient to handle. 3. If you care about your loved ones, do not admit them here. The treatment is careless and very poor, and there is no sense of urgency. 4. This hospital seems more focused on making money than helping patients. 5.The staff dont know about the time sense.They say wait 20min but they took us later 1 hr.jzt think the difference 20min to 1hr or else 1 1/2hr. 6.I request everyone please don't come here.If come here for others opinions you'll regret it later definitely.

I have no words to describe the experience.... My dad went with a wound near his ankle and he was asked to take "N" number of tests, including ECG...We had visited this place form Karwar.... This was day 1.... Funny part was when they returned the next day they were asked to take some more test and no one took it seriously until i complained.... In all the caios no even touched the wound.... My dad was so frustrated and in pain that he came back home and got it treated with a local doctor... Posting the review here just to confirm the fact that all the bad reviews regarding this hospital are true. This hospital lack basic patient care...

Hello it's my personal review towards the hospital ( I'm from Hyderabad) 1) Good doctors especially Dr sharma ( head of psychiatry department) as we have consultation with him I must say his explanation is very clear and correct diagnosis and gives the best management option to it. 2) As of my experience yes I agree the waiting time for appointment is quite long like it took me 40 mntes but I don't think so it's quite a large issue out there as of the comment down below .( Coz as of my experience there are many patients out there for consultation right so it takes time) 3) we did show to many doctors out there in Hyderabad from 10 years to my brother for the proper treatment but it's actually got worsen so yes here in this hospital it's best and cheap one with good infrastructure and patient care .
