Dr. Karkala Nursing Home

I am a p Practicing doctor so i can write this without any hesitation Went there at 2am on 30th, 2 year baby had high fever. The lady duty doctor who was very rude and unempathetic, who was intolerant towards us. She said if the child doesn't let her to examine properly i can't give medicine, as if the kid can understand. Kid has fever and running nose. She is giving ascoril LS (i am a practicing doctor too) i asked if she could give something for the running nose,she said NO. Her statement was " THIS IS MY PRESCRIPTION IF YOU WANT TAKE THIS MEDICINE OR YOU CAN LEAVE" I asked if she could give one single SOLVIN COLD tablet for an adult ( just one) she said NO. I said i am a doctor too i want a single tablet, this pharmacy won't give any tablet without my prescription and i won't write it. So unempathetic towards us. If someone is coming to hospital at midnight that means they are seeking help and coming. And she also. Said no other pharmacy is open in karkala when I asked if i can buyy it from any pharmacy.. The person has to be so heartless to not give a singl tablet at this situation WE DOCTORS SHOULD ALWAYS BE KIND AND EMPATHETIC TOWARDS PEOPLE COZ ITS A NOBLE PROFESSION.

Admitted on account of fire burns over left leg. Treated very well by Dr. Manjunath, Dr. Prasad, Dr. Prathibha. Besides treatment, they motivated me which helped to boost my mental stamina. I would like to thank Sister Rajeevi for the dressings, Sister Pallavi, Sandhya for taking care of me. Special thanks to Sweepers Jyothi and Manjula.

You will get average treatment. Local hospital. There isn't much facility available. In case of emergency and you have no choice, you can get treated here for first aid. Otherwise I recommend you go to manipal KMC, which is nearest best hospital to Karkala with all the available facilities to save your life.

One of the worst hospital i have ever seen in my life.. If u want to waste your time and money u can go.. KNH is worst hospital in and around Karkala If any doctor refferingnto that hospital pls avoid.. Staff behavior is not at all good.. Neglegency is overloaded in that hospital.

In the era of digitalization, even in 2019 there is no card transaction in this hospital. Walk-in only if you have cash in hand. I will delete this review when you come up with cashless transactions.

The worst kind of pediatric doctor. Impatient, in a hurry and gives adult medication to infants. Travel 50kms to Mangalore instead.

Please keep a tissue papers in laboratory so that patient can use and please behave well mannered with patients and please keep the toilets clean and maintained
