My experience with Vydehi Hospital in Whitefield, Bengaluru was a mix of relief and reassurance. When a family member had to be rushed in for emergency care, the response from the staff was prompt and efficient. Despite the hospital being quite busy, the emergency team was well-organized, and the initial care was provided without any unnecessary delays. Vydehi is a massive facility, with a wide range of departments and specialities under one roof. We consulted both the general medicine and cardiology departments. The doctors were knowledgeable and took the time to explain the condition and treatment options clearly. However, the hospital can feel overwhelming due to the sheer number of patients. The waiting times, especially in the OPD section, were long on certain days. Also, billing and pharmacy counters could be more streamlined. What stood out the most was the availability of comprehensive medical services, including diagnostic labs, emergency care, and even AYUSH alternatives, all within the same campus. Overall, while there is room for improvement in patient flow management, Vydehi Hospital offered us reliable medical care when we needed it most. I'd definitely consider it again for serious medical needs.

My Wife recently underwent a Surgery at Vydehi hospital and our experience was truly outstanding. From admission to discharge, the care she received was exceptional. The doctors were highly experienced and explained the procedure to us in a very reassuring and detailed manner, which really helped ease our worries. Dear Hospital Administrator/Facility Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share feedback regarding some hygiene and facility-related concerns observed during my recent visit to vydehi ( DWC) as observed since one year Jan 2024 1. Hygiene Issues: * I see unclean restrooms and wash basins do not feel the freshness due to low maintained in special wards ( DWC ) * No proper check before allotting the room , there will be no hand sanitizers kept as per the safety and hygiene stand point attendee ask for the same it will not be provided * Checklist which is provided for cleaning staffs to make a entry of each task is completed on daily basis is not done as per the process , its randomly ticked based on their convenience , there is no one to monitor the same from maintenance team. * Special ward was not clean and fresh as we could sense some drainage smell inside the room . attached pic of the room open near the pipe 2. Facility Concerns: * Very poor maintenance in the Wards ( DWC) as its considered the high standards single rooms but we noticed that TV, AC , Microwave, refrigerator all placed for name sake not in working condition just only for view it looks like all facilities are provided . * Electric sockets was not working there is no proper check * Microwave in one special single ward having electric circuit and informed multiple time but there was no action from any one in the team ,actually a bad experience . * Refrigerator is not maintained properly , some house keeping staffs use the fridge and food items will be splits and they do not ensure its cleaned when they allot the room to patient . I would really suggest that the maintenance staffs or supervisors need to have the proper tick checklist before they allot the room to patients * Attached the pictures for your reference 3. Impact on Experience: * Every time we visit hospital thinking that we will have seem less process as I am an attendee of Chemo patient and every 11 days once we need to get patient admitted for 3 days for treatment , every time we face issues in all the special wards , either TV/ AC issues with no remote, and there will be no recharge for TV DHT , even though we request there will be no one to take initiative to make sure its taken care . * Calling bell which is kept In room is for name sake there will be no immediate response from Sister staffs , every time attendee need to walk to the front desk of the ward to notify that we have done the bell and its delay . * At Night still more worse condition , night staffs will not be available for any emergency even the call bell rings , they will just go to room and sleep keeping the half door open . ( if that's the case emergency time night duty staffs are not alert to attend the patients ) attendee of patients need to run searching for night nurse staffs as they will not be available at their front cabins I trust that you will address these concerns promptly to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and visitors. I came here from West Bengal, and I noticed a few things. The medical treatment here is excellent, and specialist doctors are appointed for every kind of disease. The nurses here are also very good, taking great care of the patients. Every task in the hospital has dedicated staff, and cleanliness is highly maintained. People come here for treatment from various parts of India, and even from abroad. When I visited, I saw that many people had come from West Bengal, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Bengali food available near the hospital. I really liked that.
