My husband at the age of 33 had severe Mitral Valve Regurgitation and we got to know from 2-3 heart surgeons that heart surgery is the only solution for this issue. No matter it is a very biggest hospital in blore, i was disappointed regarding post operative measures are not clarified properly. Of course there are hundreds nd thousands of such surgery every month... It is new to every patient nd it is duty of doctor s to clarify and intimate post operative issues. I am not given any proper guidelines and not any contact number to help in case of any quiery regarding the surgery. I'm almost 380 kms away from Bangalore and this is the most disappointed matter for me after surgery.. I had visited Dr.Sathyaki for my father consultation related to AVR. Doctor explained the issue in detail with options for surgery and complications considering my father's age and diabetic condition.
