I visited Dr. S.V. Krishna Rao Sir at Apollo Clinic, Electronic City, for a cardiac evaluation due to chest discomfort. He listened to my concerns carefully and with great patience. He promptly recommended an ECG and an echocardiogram (ECHO), both of which were done immediately. Based on the reports, he mentioned that there was a 90% chance everything was fine--but he didn't stop there. Out of caution, he advised me to get a Troponin I test, and if that came out positive, an angiogram should be performed. Unfortunately, I delayed the Troponin test by two days. As soon as I received the report and it showed elevated levels, Dr. Krishna Rao acted swiftly and instructed me to get admitted on an emergency basis at Apollo Hospital, Bannerghatta. Following admission, I was diagnosed with ischemic heart disease - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Non-ST Myocardial Infarction, and an angioplasty was performed promptly. I have no words to express my deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Dr. S.V. Krishna Rao Sir. His timely decisions, clinical expertise, and compassionate guidance saved my life. Every time I close my eyes, I see his face--it reminds me of the moment he steered me away from a life-threatening situation. Thank you so much, Sir. I will always be grateful to you.
