I am deeply disappointed with the way Narayana Hospital has handled my father's case over the past few days, especially regarding the follow-up process and reception conduct. We consulted Dr. Kuldeep Shetty for a serious neurological issue. On Day 1, MRI scans of the brain and spine were advised and promptly completed. During follow-up, the doctor asked us to undergo blood creatinine and EMG tests, and clearly mentioned not to take another appointment post-EMG--just to walk in for review so he could decide the diagnosis and treatment in two parts. As instructed, I completed the EMG early in the morning and submitted the file for follow-up. Shockingly, the reception staff pushed my file to the bottom, stating only appointment holders will be prioritized--even though the doctor had asked us to come directly. We have already spent nearly 20,000 on tests, but the reception staff gave preference to 1500 appointment patients, completely ignoring the doctor's instructions. This clearly reflects a broken system, lack of coordination, and total disregard for a patient's time, money, and medical urgency. Hospitals must show respect to follow-up patients who are following medical advice seriously. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and improves patient handling and interdepartmental coordination.

Dr. Kuldeep Shetty sir (Neurology department) has advanced expertise in his specialized area. Synopsis * He has good patience. * He's able to analyse and come to the conclusion that the previous doctor has done everything from his end to help the patient become better. * He does relevant tests and then gives the patient the option of his next treatment plan, probably surgery if needed. If the patient is not willing to take up the surgery, he does not pester; rather, he changes the medications as per the need. * One special thing I personally liked about him is that he types everything and maintains a very good history of the patient under the heading 'Notes'. The first part includes the referred doctor's name and a brief medical history of the patient. Current medications: Followed by o/e, inv: , impression and plan. He gives the same copy to the patient as well. One can understand almost everything by just having a peek at this.

The best neurologist and movement disorder specialist I have ever seen in my lifetime ..He is like a family member to me..I have been suffering from Focal Dystonia since 2018 but couldn't figure out my exact problem, but he was the one to solve the puzzle which other doctors couldn't do...I am going on medications suggested by him and feel that positive of recovering soon...I am and will be under his supervision throughout my life and I am sure that I will overcome my problem soon....
