I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Hospital . Instead of prioritizing patient care and well-being, the focus seemed to be entirely on money. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being treated more as a customer than as a patient. The billing process was unnecessarily complicated, and the charges were exorbitant, with several services added that felt completely unnecessary. Despite these high costs, the actual care provided was below expectations. The staff seemed indifferent, and there was a clear lack of empathy in handling patients. Hospitals should be places of healing, but my experience here was stressful and left me feeling exploited. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this hospital unless there are no other options available.

Patient Reviews
The doctor at Venkiteswar Hospital, Badami, Karnataka, asked us to pay 4,500 to treat a hand dislocation issue faced by my student, which had developed into a 7/8th dislocation over time. They insisted on sedation, which was unnecessary for the condition. Despite our concerns, the doctor was unwilling to address the issue properly and appeared more focused on bargaining than providing care. The fee they demanded was excessive, and their actions were completely against medical ethics. It seemed like they were trying to exploit the situation for financial gain, even though the issue could have been resolved quickly and easily. Such behavior is unacceptable in the medical profession. It is deeply disappointing to witness such practices. I can confidently say that healthcare services in Kerala are far superior in terms of quality, ethics, and affordability. I urge the doctors at this hospital to learn from the exemplary healthcare standards in Kerala.
Very bad experience. On 03 December when we were in badami. My friend's shoulder has dislocated and we were went to venkateshwar hospital they treated hospital service as a business with out no mercy. So humbly I request that please don't go anybody to this hospital
Very bad experience my friend got injured and they levied high bill on the emergency situation. No mercy from them. They work only on profit motive
It's the kind of hospital where you worry about contracting a more serious disease than you came in with. The doctors and nurses seemed somewhat competent, except when it came to sanitary practices. Nobody wore gloves or washed their hands, even when coming in direct contact with blood. The "ACT LIKE AS IF THEY ARE GIVING FREE SERVICE WITHOUT CHARGING MONEY " THE ATTITUDE OF STAFF IS LIKE PEOPLE DONT HAVE CHOICE THEN THERE. THINK 10 TIMES BEFORE VISITING HOSPITAL WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EVEN IF ITS A EMERGENCY. The lagauage of staff is inappropriate
It's the kind of hospital where you worry about contracting a more serious disease than you came in with. The doctors and nurses seemed somewhat competent, except when it came to sanitary practices. Nobody wore gloves or washed their hands, even when coming in direct contact with blood. I observed blood being poured into an open trash can, and a bloody needle handled with no gloves and then being thrown into a regular dustbin by a "nurse" who then did not wash her hands before trying to insert another needle into my wife's arm (we refused). All medical waste is in open cardboard boxes at the pharmacy counter downstairs. The toilet was Indian style with human waste on the floor, no toilet paper, and no soap to wash hands. Consider that most people enter Indian hospitals with diarrhea, and that this is the only bathroom. It was not clean. After searching I discovered one bar of soap in the lab. It was the only soap in the hospital. The hospital itself is open-air in a town that is known to be pretty dirty and dusty. There were stains dripping down the walls and drops of blood on the floor. There is another private hospital that looks better just north and opposite of the bus stand.
Worst Hospital in this badami town. for pregent women's they tell to wait 4 to 5 hour's.. we will come from Village side for better treatment but staff will not co operate correctly..
Worst hospital. Doctor behavior with the patients is rude.staff don't have basic knowledge how to be have with people. I will not recommend this hospital to any one.
