He did his MBBS from KMC, Mangalore and MS (General surgery) from MUHS, India. Further, he is a member of Royal College of Surgeons of England and also member of national academy of medical sciences. He did is MCH in CTVS from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Previously, he was associated with Lady Cilento Children's hospital, Australia as senior fellow in Paediatric cardiac surgery. He specializes in treating cardiac conditions in paediatrics and neonates.
