I visited Surya Super Speciality Hospital in Sahibganj for my wife's treatment with Doctor Khushboo Priya, considered one of the best Gynaecologists in the area. The hospital was excellent overall. The 1700 charge for the General ward was reasonable. The nurses were qualified and available 24/7. However, the pharmacy sold medicines at MRP without discounts. I think if the pharmacy gave a discount on purchases over 2000, it would be very helpful for patients whose financial condition is not good. One area for improvement at Surya Hospital is the discharge process. I experienced a significant delay, with it taking around 1.5 to 2 hours to prepare the discharge file. Streamlining this process would greatly enhance the patient experience. Behaviour of all the staff were good... cleanliness and manegement was also good...my mother had stone surgery, which was held perfect and she is fit and fine now. Dr. Sumit Kumar has good experience and very good at his work.

This is the most worst hospital.Th staff at the counter and most importantly the security guard is the most uneducated and uncivilized person. Their behaviour is like of a third grade people. They don't even know how to address people. The management should work on hiring staffs. While I was waiting for someone to attend me and give me an appointment the staff were roaming around even after knowing that I need appointment with Dr. Vijay Kumar. More over there was a family requesting them to open the emergency room but these people were busy in their personal talks. And upon request multiple times they asked the family to first get some irrelevant documents . And kept the unconscious patient unattended. They family were forced to keep the patient on the floor lying. If anyone wants their family member to be safe never ever visit the hospital.
