He has no business prescribing non-ayurvedic medicines, but he will do it anyway. His understanding of medicine is poor, and I had to visit other doctors to undo his mistakes.

During our recent family trip to Manali, we all fell ill and sought medical attention from a local doctor. He administered injections and prescribed medications, advising us to continue the injections for three days. Despite following his instructions, our health did not improve. Upon returning home, we consulted our regular physician, who reviewed the Manali doctor's prescription and informed us that the injections were unnecessary and constituted an overdose. It appears the doctor in Manali prioritized financial gain over our well-being by administering unwarranted treatments. We strongly advise others to exercise caution when seeking medical care in Manali and to consider obtaining a second opinion before undergoing similar treatments.

I highly recommend Dr. Thakur. During my visit to Manali last month, I was suffering from food poisoning and high fever. I visited Dr. Thakur and the treatment what he gave was quick and very effective within 10 min. I was feeling better. He made me fit to travel for rest of my tour. We had wonderful trip. All thanks to Dr. Thakur without him this wouldn't had been possible. If anyone needs doctor in Manali please do contact Dr. Thakur very humble,very knowledgeable and decent person. I have visited to him during my manali trip. When Suddenly my daughter caught fever and loose motion very badly. He take care of her very well. Dr. Thakur is very genuine doctor. Prompt home service. When we were in Manali my husband was sick due to severe stomach pain.I was worried because we were came to Manali by road and the next day we need to leave as per plans. When Dr. Thakur visited us he gave him the medicine and we could see the immediate improvement in my husband,'s health. And now we are on the return journey just because of his medicines. I am from Mumbai, came for himachal tour and my baby suddenly fell sick, got fever stomach ache at 10.30 pm and started shivering in the middle of night 2 am, we got badly tense , tension was rising every minute , we were searching local dr in manali and came across dr R K Thakur name, called him in the night at 2 o'clock, and he picked the ph and said he will try to come at 6 am early morning and prescribed medicine on ph also, in the morning he came and prescribed medicine, that was our last day in manali we were on the way to Chandigarh then delhi to catch flight and that whole time he guided us well no matter what time we called him ,he answered every call, good to found you in disguise , i don't remember what we did on tour but certainly him, nice to meet you good dr in humanitarian grounds knowledge grounds .
