Dr. Kullu Valley Hospital

Very Good Doctors and facility for women and child care here especially the matrika wing . Both my kids were born here . The place is tidy and clean . They have parking space . The issue is the rush hour .Other than that a very good hospital and service .

I wish I could give 0 stars. We consulted Dr. Akshat Chandel for the routine checkup of our newborn baby. The baby had mild jaundice. The doctor advised us to come every alternate day for checkups and performed multiple blood tests each time -- without offering any real treatment. When the jaundice level reached 17, he admitted our baby for phototherapy for 2 days. A day after discharge, we visited again because the baby had felt slightly warm during the night but was normal by morning it was due to overdressing. Despite that, they forcefully admitted the baby, scaring us by saying it could be sepsis, and they told that they will keep pur baby for 6 hours of observation, and they started treatment without any issue. However, they conducted a huge number of expensive tests -- like CPR, Culture and Susceptibility, CSF, TSB, PS, and more -- repeatedly, even though the baby had no symptoms (feeding well, normal temperature). All test results came back normal, yet they still started heavy antibiotics without any proper diagnosis. When we questioned this, they reported incorrect temperature readings just to scare us. They insisted on keeping the baby admitted for at least 7 days, even though no actual treatment was being given apart from antibiotics three times a day. We requested discharge since we live just 2 minutes from the hospital and could easily monitor the baby at home. They denied and misbehaved with us. Finally, we had to discharge the baby against medical advice (DAMA). We believe all this unnecessary treatment and testing was done only for making money, without any real concern for the baby's condition. It is important to mention that my wife had a history of ectopic pregnancy, so we were already cautious and had consulted another, much better doctor in Mandi for delivery. I definitely do not recommend Dr. Akshat Chandel to anyone.

Worst hospital ever. They made us wait for 3 hours straight just for a X- ray. Fees is too much. Better go for government hospital or any other private one but avoid going in this hospital. They are just running business. Wish there was option for 0 star.. This hospital deserves zero!

Sadly says that I am senior citizen and check up ownself to Dr.YashPalThakur urologist. Problem is this I am waiting from last two hours for consult the doctor. But alash nursing officer told me u wait atleast two hours more for ur turn. What is this ? I didn't understand. Can u convince some one else ?

I came to Kullu valley hospital through Yogesh with a broken bone in need of urgent surgery. I was traveling alone and went through the entire procedure with only hospital staff and can't thank enough to all the nurses, everyone who helped me with all the tests and of course Dr Rajesh. I received round the clock care by everyone and I'm so grateful to everyone working at Kullu Valley Hospital. Thank you so much, they are doing life saving work. I cam from Manali and I'm s grateful that I received proper care in Kullu and didn't need to go any further for medical care.
