Dr. Sub District Hospital, Ponda

Sisters r rude,but few are good, I have been admitted in hospital and im diabetic patient,so doctor recommend insuline, but I'm not able to inject my self and my wife also not able to do this we not professional in this,so I told Sisters to inject they r saying this is not thier duty everytime to inject insuline.so for what this Sisters r here,are they public servant,or they r vilian in uniform which they donot know how respect patient ....

We went here for Anti-Rabis Vaccine (as tourists ) , the process was smooth even though charged 100 for registration.

Worst experience. The doctors and nurses are way to careless and speak in a rude manner(specially in casuality). Due to their insensitive behaviour I m surely gonna hate this noble job. People here take their job for granted. Government should really do something about it. I would never visit this hospital again

The place is very clean and good service is available. It can be very crowded most of the times. Visited the Casualty which is on the right side of the main building. The staff is quite coopertive. During admitting a patient, they ask for a paper which can be made in the main building for a charge of 100. Each patient is required to make a seperate paper.

Yes the cleanliness is at its best and none will say it is a govt hospital only thing is it used to have a lot of crowd and I would suggest each departmental Dr should have a coupon system as the crowding will be reduced or patients can know from the coupons when is their turn to meet the concerned Dr. it's just a suggestion as Drs are loaded with patients and lot of crowd on the main doors of the Drs . Really appreciate their caring for the patients . Overall full marks for the ID Hospital

Should say having the best caring & courteous staff. My friend was admitted for Covid-19 & he is all out in praise for the care the hospital staff & Doctors took......God bless you all at Sub-District Hospital (Ponda) for being humane.

The sub district hospital of Ponda. It has all the facilities from general OPD, ortho, surgery, dental, psychiatric, pediatric, etc. It is a newly constructed building and has ample parking space. It also has an emergency casualty ward which is open 24 hours and all accidental and emergency cases are diverted here. Since it is a government hospital the treatment and medicines are free but the only fees you have to pay is for registering new case papers/admission papers which can be used for one financial year. Overall hygiene and cleanliness is 5/5 and medicines are always available. Once I had recommended this hospital to a non Goan friend of mine who has was on a state visit, at first he hesitated to get his treatment there since it's a government aided hospital and the case is bit different outside Goa, but his attitude changed after the visit. He was amazed after witnessing the level of hygiene and cleanliness. It is not easily accessible via bus/public transport one can walk around 10 mins from the nearest bus stop. It is also a Covid19 testing Centre.

Dr vinda pai dukle has killed my child due to his negligence and she is not even taking responsibility of it. Shame on such type of doctors. I personally not recommend dis hospital better go to GMC instead of coming here.
